I'm not a Rogue owner at this point, but so far, the Rogue is my favorite in the small SUV category. If I can persuade myself that a small SUV really will serve my needs as well as a small pickup truck will and if I can make peace with the smaller cockpit size of a small SUV, I'm likely to get a Rogue. The interesting thing about this thread is how similar so many of us are.amr40509 wrote:It's always interesting to find out what demographic you are talking to.
What is your age/sex?Occupation?Other vehicles you own? Interesting fact/hobby?Rogue model purchased/planned to purchase?

I'm 44 and male.
I'm a corrosion engineer, and I'm amused that so many folks on this thread are in technical fields.
I currently own a '93 Mazda B2600i and would trade this vehicle if I get the Rogue. I also own a 2001 Saturn SC1 that I use for my around town and long travel car. I get close to 40 mpg on the highway with that car, so I won't stop using that one for many trips. The Rogue will be for bringing stuff home from the hardware store, for taking a kayak to the lake, and for going on hiking vacations.
I keep reptiles as pets.
I'm looking at an SL in AWD but without anything premium. If I stumble into one with a moonroof, I may get the moonroof.
