I used to think external wastegate dumps sounded cool but now I think they sound like ****. I am sure when I pass cars they think some thing is wrong with my car. My exhaust is really loud compaired to the stock turbo. If you look at the size of the turbine on the stock turbo vs the new one you will see why. It's much more open so sound can get through it easier. I don't care for my exhaust sound right now. It sounds too much like the Z24's. I think I will go with a larger muffler and maybe a second muffler uipstrem.

I see boost in 3rd gear just above 3000 but it doesn't make good power (full boost) till about 3800-4000. I think the turbo is sized nicely for the motor. I know before the stock turbo would make full boost early but the car didn't make power till about 4000-4500 so whats the point in having a turbo that makes boost that early but then dies off on the top end.

Just what I wanna hear. I think with tuning, and a good boost controller, full boost should be able to be had by 3800 rpms, which is just right for traction :)

Good to hear that the turbo got working good. What size lines and fittings did you use for the new turbo to block? How did you plug up the coolant-turbo send?

Thanks,Daniel
