In the Hardbody:
4 ratcheting tie down straps
A bunch of Grass clippings because my friend keeps borrowing my truck and mower and never cleans it out.
A couple of spit cups/bottles

In the S13:
My car battery
Water not the bottled kind, the rain water kind because my tail lights leak into the hatch compartment

In the Tiguan:
My wife has enough survival stuff to keep all of Boise alive for at least 2 days.

I have whatever both cars came with from the factory. Typical spare, jack, tools to replace the spare. My 240 spare would only work in the rear though. I try not to think about it.

All I have in my trunk is just a spare tire, I don't even have a jack. Looks like I'm the only unresponsive jackass in here.

Full size hydraulic jack, bondo, paint, assortment tools, change of clothes for working on car, zip ties, detailing products, funnels, wiper fluid, small spare parts, power sander, hand cleaner... oh yeah, and the compact spare tire.

Feels like I'm missing something?

other than the spare:
Cheapo toolbox filled with a pretty decent selection of tools. Wrenches, screwdrivers, small hammer, zipties, radiator clamps, probably some more junk
two sets of sockets (had to buy a second because the first one didn't go to large enough metric sizes)
can of rust penetrant, container of brake fluid, four quarts of oil (left over from when my front main blew and I was using a quart a week), bottle of 50/50 mix coolant, replacement critical belts (water pump and alternator), a few water bottles, roll of heavy duty towels, jumper cables, big a** umbrella my work gave me and I never use even in downpours, yardstick to prop the trunk lid up youth baseball bat (used to roll my fenders, now just sits there), frisbee, never know when you are going to need to throw one around

for you guys with lights, are we talking about lights that run off the car battery? If not, how do you keep it ready to go? I have tried keeping a flashlight in there and the batteries will go dead in a couple months without being used just from the temperature variation.

Also, anyone with extra water or coolant, what do you do about the sweating/condensing you get after a cool night and humid morning. I often find that I have a big wet spot in the carpeting around the bottle. :frown:

Nothing you would expect. None of our cars have the original wheels/tires so none of them have spares or jacks. We only had one set of jumper cables in the whole garage and we lent those to a friend who never returned them so we are SOL there. No spare oil, tools, supplies. Damn, I need to get some AAA.....

Stock spare and jack. 21mm 1/2" drive socket wrench to replace the lug wrench that doesn't fit the lug nuts rubberized trunk liner (pools the blood from the from the dead hookers), that's about it...

My friend has one of those flashlights that charge when you shake it. It works, but you have to constantly shake it to keep the light on for prolonged use. You can try keeping an unopened pack of batteries.

As for the coolant, I usually keep less than half of gallon and never seen it produce a wet spot. Maybe it's because I keep it in a plastic bag.

I have been thinking about an AR7. If they were more accurate I'd pick one up. Then I'd have pretty much everything for survival...
