84 impala sounds sweet. High school isn't like that anymore, b/c the women are very cautious!

I loved that car....Sadly I wrecked it due to black ice and speed...Great first car too, taught ya how to use your mirrors and really learn the dimensions of the car since it was a boat. It had 253,000 miles on it and the biggest thing to ever go bad was the radiator....I beat the piss out of it too...Not good on gas tho...18mpg on a good day. I geuss it's a good thing women are more respectable now tho...I had alot of "firsts" in that car..lol. I wish I had a pic of it.

speaking of gas mileage, i beat on my s14 my first tank of gas and got 19 mpg! You know the drill, i get a new car and all my friends want to race me. I actually beat all my friends: 96 grand cherokee 4 litre, 2000 toyota corolla(340,000 miles!), and one of my friends chevy cobalt(not the ss) and i was just awful on that tank. But now i get 28 regularly and baby teh s14!

I wish I had a sweet '95 S14 in HS. Of course, I was a freshman in HS in 1995, so it would've been brand new at the time.

Oh, and I don't know too much about ZR-1's nor about what's inside them, but I know enough not to screw with any. I never got under the hood of that one guy's car or anything, didn't really know him, but I knew the car.

("all coming back to me now" moment): I also had a friend in an art class who drive a pretty slick gold turbo Z31. Then he sold it so he could lease an older S-class....dummy.

Yea, i think i picked an awesome car to start out. And its a 96, if it matters. I saved my money and bought my dream car for my first car. I think thats awesome, and i like my car better than any other in the parking lot at school. I am a junior this year and i am probably one of very few who bought their own car. Theres another guy that drives a base s14 that is nice. Mine is cleaner though. His is pretty rough, but still a nice looking 240!

teh reason is asked is b/c many zr-1's didnt come with the lt5. the lt5 was a 4 cam v8 monster. it was made by mercury (the boat people). it was wayyyyy ahead of its time and has been known to record killer land speed records. i actually built one with my brother when i was 15. it went 210mph at bonneville. 210 all day! with a/c blasting

Drexel University in Philly. Even though I'm here for five years, for three of them I only have class from end of September until the end of March. Then I work at a high-paying job for the next six months. God do I love co-op.

ok so i talked to this kid again today. And i ask him what cars his teammates drive. He says fast ones. And i ask what kind of fast ones? He says a civic, eclipse and a blazer thats for show!!!!!LOLOLOLOL o well, so team ruckus is stupid.

And another school experience:I'm getting into my car and this kid comes up and says, Hey is that a 240? I say yep, and he says that he just bought one with a big engine that had been wrecked. I say so if you ask me if this is a 240 how do you have one and not even know what one looks like? He walked away. What an idiot. And then another kid tells me i should do a silvia swap so i can drift. I say,o i can drift fine. He asks me how i do it and i reply: I go arount a wide right turn leaving school in second and floor it, then slide around the turn and get it straight. Then he tells me thats not drifting, that drifting is where you pull the e-brake. THen this cool guy goes on to say that his friend just bought an 04 240. And all my friends at my table start busting out laughing. I get a lot of attention driving an s14 to school. I t makes me laugh to see how little these people know anout cars and if they knew it would probably be hazardous to their health. Butg o well. TT you guys later.

Wow, I hope I was never that retarded in HS...No, there's no way.

P.S. I don't know about FLs laws, but I'd watch it drifting out of your school parking lot. Really easy way to quadruple your insurance premiums. I got a Careless driving in HS burning out in the parking lot (in a Toyota Sienna, no less. Beat that Biotch!)I was just a nooblet, give me a break.

After further thought, regarding the above incident, I changed my mind. I was a total retard in H.S.

Well, I did some ZR-1 research last night (because there's one for sale for a very low price near me) and apparently all ZR-1's have the LT5, thus, so did he. This is an individual who is 1 year older than me, and presently drives a 360 Modena Spyder F1, thus I have no reason to doubt the authenticity of the ZR-1 he drove in High School.

At my high school kids have pretty expensive cars. A 350z, Audi Quatro TT, a couple Acura RSX Type-S's, LOTS OF MUSTANGS, an RX-8 and other cars that kids parents bought them. We have quite a few 240s aswell. One convertible, a red 97 S14, 95 S14, 1991 S13 Coupe, and my awesome hatch. The kid who owns the 91 coupe and I are both 240 enthusiast, while the other people could care less about them. Oh, and they are all automatics.

One thing I hate about high school is that alot of the kids don't know crap about cars. And apparently I'm the only one at the highschool who doesn't care about going fast in a straight line. It's like they think there is only one type of racing. In my 2nd hour all I hear about is "Hey Blair, so and so wants to race your camaro" or "Dude I took my car out to the drags and it ran a 15". Also alot of the "car enthusiast" at HS are arrogant.

Bah, I can't wait til I graduate and start college.

It's not really any better in college, the best thing you can do to convert the retards is take them to autocrosses.

So wait, from reading all of this, street racing is bad, but drifting in a school zone is cool? Am I the only one to see the hypocrisy here?

nice poit chingon, but you see where i drift is no school zone. The spot i drift is on a road away from the high school. I take a right out of the parking lot, unlike 90% of the other kids and then follow that road wich passes by all our fields, then there is a turn which is way away from my school, which is where i drift. Then after that right turn it takes me about 1 minute to get back to the other side of the school, to where i exit at the traffic light. I understand your point, and i am gonna stop drifting there and look for other places b/c i don't wanna get caught in case the cops are looking.

Please do me a favor and ask the "cool guy" where his friend picked up an 04' 240 from because I heard they were really nice and I want to get one myself! Please!! lol I graduated HS like 5 years ago but your story brings back memories of all the tools in my class!

If you really want to mess with their ignorant @$$e$ shave the Nissan Emblem off the hood and the (240SX & SE) emblems off the trunk and replace them with the "S" Shield and a Black S14 Silvia emblem or decal. I have a black Silvia emblem that I will send to you free if you want it. I bought the decal from nissan becasue I don't like the emblem anymore. I pulled the emblem off the trunk of a JDM Silvia in Japan like 3 years ago. Let me know!

So you guys want to hear what happened today? Well, there is a section where the "show cars" park. The row they park in has about 75 spaces and backs up to the tennis courts. There is a lifted chevy 1500, a f150 with a bodykit, rims, airbags, custom paint, a galant with ragtop with bodykit and rims, a corolla with body kit and rims and some other crap, not much though. So now that you know that, the corolla guy wants tp sell one of my friends a weapon r intake and eurotails. My friends corolla has 350k on it and we're putting hubcap spinners on it this weekend its a beater and we are gonna have a fart can too, just for laughs b/c its a beater ready to blow up. Ok now that background is done, here is what happened: My friend knows nothing much about cars so i went to look at the stuff for him. I backed in beside the "show cars" and i tell the kid i want to see the stuff. Well he shows me and its real nice stuff. So i lock my doors, grab my books and go toward the building. Then the guy with the intake yells: Don't park that sh** near me. I'm thinkin WTF? Hes like you don't have a bodykit, get that out of here. Ohhh, he just started something. So i didn't want to get in a fight or anything, so i just say f-n ricers, then i get in my car and start it, then run it up to 6k rpms and drop the clutch. I spin out of the space and keep on spinning all the way through 1st and then go park at the other side of the lot. I think i hadled it well, b/c tommorrow i got almost everyone i know with a car to park in the whole "show car" row early tomorrow. and then they can park their sh** other places, LOL. But that just pisses me off. I can't wait until i meet one of them on the road Silly ricers

i went to school in the hood (i live in the burbs on the other side of town) b/c it was the only highschool in town with gifted program. we had tons of muscle cars (a lot which i did work on) but none were really fast. toward the end of the year though, my friend got a 35th anniversary camaro which was pretty quick, he bought it with a cam and mac header/exhaust all the way back. then we had a h2, a BRAND NEW mercades sl55amg! along with a lot of other cool stuff. most were POS's though except for my 240!

Why do you guys want 04 240's? I'd rather have the twin turboed 06' 240 than the 04' SC edition. Yes it is a centri SC pushing 40lbs on the 04' but the 06' has twin t-88's running 88lbs Think they planed that in development? too bad it's still one wheel wonder though.
