Wow, that's a lotta water. I live a few blocks from the Delaware River (uphill) near where George Washington crossed during the Revolutionary War. With the massive development in our county (farmers selling to developers to escape high taxes), and a silly truck tunnel in Trenton that pinches the river (built so poorly it can not handle trucks, but that's another story :chuckle: ), the Delaware river in the Trenton area now experiences a 100 yr flood about once a year.

Luckily we haven't had it too bad around here. I guess the mountains on this end of the state tend to help.

I've driven through that part of I-24 dozens of times. Last time I got stuck there was due to a fire. Would hate to get stuck due to a flood.

its been raining pretty bad here in florence, Al the past little bit which is about 2hrs from nashville....A funnel cloud was seen from my front porch yesterday, hail, flood and tornado warnings everyday for the past 2-3 days.

My condolences go out to all that is affected by this crazy weather.

The 240 is safely in the garage though until this blows over

Heh. I work at Electric Boat (submarine manufacturer) and someone started a rumor at the office that our design facilities would be moving to Warwick, Rhode Island.

I quipped: "Well, I guess they can launch subs from there now."

Yeah the sh*t is getting gnarly here in middle Tennessee. I got to school in Cookeville (about 85 miles east of Nashville) and it's been raining non-stop the past two days. Thankfully we've had no flooding (yet) but they say it's sure to come. Thoughts and prayers to anyway affected out there. Be safe guys.

That, my friends, is the benefit of elevated air intakes.

Liquid cooling? Yeah, I got your liquid cooling right here.

Finishing up Freshman year this Wednesday and couldn't be happier! I'm ready to start studying something I actually care about haha. I've looked into the Baja team and other stuff like it but I've been crazy busy my first two semesters getting settled in, working and maintaining a job. Hopefully next year I'll be able to get involved in something fun lol.

East Tennessee was largely untouched until yesterday evening. Reports from my sister said they had 93 degree weather while I was in water up to my ankles 200 miles west. -_-
