I have to ask though... how would you compare the GTR with your old viper? I mean, I know the GTR has a lot of cool in dash gadgets that the viper doesnt... but how do the handling and engine characteristics differ? Besides online numbers and PS3, I have never sat in the seat of a GTR.

my gf's brother used to have a 2005 Viper, and man... that thing had the most responsive (not to mention beastly) engine ever! I mean, you can practically spin wheels at half throttle... I loved its track ready feel (i'm sure of which you already know of)

it has paddle shifters (six-speed twin clutch gearbox) with a GR6 transmission... basically, its a bad *** transmission that doesn't lose much power between shifting like stick or auto does.. or something like that.

I'll have a full write up and review in a bit. The Viper to me is a driver's car, the driver controls everything, the GTR is computer aided driving, make sense?

I've been freelancing for years now. You build up a good client base if you're good, and I've got a pretty good stronghold for myself here in San Diego. I've been teaching for years now as well, so I'm up there in the teacher's pay scale. My wife has her masters degree and she's a teacher as well, so she actually makes more than me as a teacher becuase of her masters.

Exactly why I would keep the viper and dump the V35. But hey, it is what gives _YOU_ pleasure.

Regardless, congrats on the new purchase and hope it works well for you!

I would personally also pic the r35 not only because it is quicker, depending on what options you have, and which modes you have selected, but I love rear wheel drive or even all wheel drive sports cars. It is just my style of driving.
