m10x1.0 = pitch
30mm = length

but thats OE... if you see the link i posted earlier, guy got a Jun FW...and OE style FW bolts...and they were to short...

so i think i still need to measure to be sure...

Well if they were 1/2" to long then you would be looking at a 17.3mm so somewhere around 18mm if i can get it.

as i was taking off the flywheel on the car (im not sayin stock/oem since im unsure) i notice this ring was on the fly

like this

here the difference between how the bolt would sit on and off the giant washer

from the bottom with and without the washer

full length of bolt

first pic is length thru the flywheel that came with the motor, and the second pic thru the Jun

pretty much...just waiting on parts...

thought...

how would a Exedy OE replacement work...

pretty much since the turbo blew its seals, im replacing with a t28 and 550cc inj to complement the bastard...

just wondering if it be enough to hold for a while, or just get the spec stage 2 or three...

Any updates on this issue? Any chance the flywheel was resurfaced too thin thus allowing the clutch disc closer to the flywheel bolts? I'm wondering this that spacer ring is OEM?...maybe added to use the longer bolts.

The cracks on the flywheel are normal. They'll machine out. I'm running a SPEC Stage 3+ and a JUN 13lb. Flywheel and I think it's a great combo. The shift point is up near the top of the pedal instead of being down near the floor but once you get used to it, it's actually better because you can shift faster because you don't have to move the pedal as far in between shifts.

As for the ring, as others have said, it's only for automatics. That is the cause of ALL of the problems you were having. Don't toss that thing though, as you might need it for the JUN flywheel. Something in the back of my mind said I had to put washers under my bolts to get them spaced up properly for the JUN flywheel.

ok...so how about...i put the ring infront of the flywheel

I.E.
Ring<flywheel<clutch<trans

oppose to

Flywheel<ring<clutch<Trans

or delete it all together and get proper length bolts made...i want to avoid using it...

i figure if i put the ring in front of the flywheel, the starter wont catch the teeth, if i put the ring in the back like it was installed...same might happen to my new clutch.....

and btw... can anyone please confirm this...

CA M10x1.0 X30mm
SR M10x1.0 x25mm

^ flywheel bolts... i bought some ARP's off ebay, and on the ups email reciept, the description says SR20 arp bolts...

now, wither he fed up and sent the wrong stuff...or there the same...or he's screwing me over...i already sent him an email...but im wondering if anyone here can help

BTW float ive been hitting u up on aim with no answer...i got the Spec stage2...i dont think my set up would justify anything more aggresive yet...
