The Pacific wasn't nearly as good as BOB. It was only ok imho.

There are limits of my love for you Seth. In the wintertime, it's about 50* :yesnod

Is that a blown HG, or REALLY old coolant?

Ugh. This 100% humidity is absurdly unseasonal and incredibly oppressive.

Turns out it was just really old/dirty coolant and a bad radiator cap. I was pretty worried when I saw that pouring out of my overflow tank. I flushed the cooling system, threw on a new cap, changed the oil, and all is well now :woot:

Hey Bex what was the awesome window tint you were talking about a while ago. I need to get the M2 tinted and if it's good enough for AZ, it'll do wonders here.

Huper Optik. It's expensive but it's 100x better than regular tint.

Be sure to check your local tint laws. Some towns/states in my area (cough NJ) have lower limits than warmer states like AZ or FL as to how dark you can go with tint.

I was behind some guy from Colorado the other day getting his as$ chewed out by the local koopas. They don't allow front tint here at all, only a small band up top for the high sun.

I've been busier than expected (the kids are going to camp next week) so we haven't had as much free time as we wanted. I did get to see the first Ironman though. It was really good.

Still depends on the local/state laws. I wouldn't make the assumption that it'll work everywhere.

That's not going to stop your average barely-finished-highschool moron cop from pulling you over, calling over 10 of his fat gay cop pals with their drug sniffing dogs, and searching/harassing you. It won't stop them from putting you in jail or impounding your car while leaving it to the courts to decide whether your arrest/impound was legitimate. Then there's the clowns out there who make their drug dogs give false positives, forcing you to give into a search.

Meanwhile, you're out thousands for impounding fees, court fees, jail fees (yes, jail costs money), and your lawyer.

Most members of law enforcement are violent thugs incapable of tying their own shoes so I keep everything clean, tidy, and exceedingly legal.

I dunno about most members of law enforcement, but I do agree it's unwise to draw an officer's attention to you with your car. And stuff like extra dark tint, tinted tail lights, big silly wings or fart can mufflers draw their attention and almost never in a good way. Problem is most young males ignore that.

I know, I know.

It's something I neglected to check because I never had any cooling issues, needless to say, I won't be doing that again. I flushed everything out real good and put new coolant/distilled water, new radiator cap, and changed the oil. Drove the car around for a few hours today and everything looks good :woot:

I also took this experience and went over the cooling systems on my other cars to make sure everything is good to go :dblthumb:

It is truly unfortunate that the bad apples out there make the good 10% of dedicated law enforcement look bad.

Jesda is right I saw a documentary on this topic the other day did you know they chug syrup right from the bottle at Ihop gross!

I spent the weekend in Prescott starting on the 4th it was much cooler. Let me tell you about a very fun little road, Iron Springs Road outside Prescott - Skull Valley. Its only 13 miles and a section of it is currently NOT paved but the most of it is very freshly paved. It is a few tight 25 mph turns and short 35 mph straights. I didn't see many other cars but the cars I did see were not following the posted limit. Elevation change is almost 1000 feet in the 13 miles either direction.
