2006 Subaru WRX STi.

Man oh man, does this car pwn. I have replaced a few items, like the up pipe, down pipe, put a turbo back exhaust, turbo inlet pipe, and had an open-source tune done.

I am pushing 340 at the 4 tires.

Any of you Altima ladies feel like getting walked on?

I am surprised at how fast this 4 banger is. It isn't as Luxurious as my Lincoln, but I imagine I will still park for free.

You guys should take one of these for a test drive. It's a pretty fun car, and AWD grips the road really well. It also transferrs the power fairly well, asw in comparison to a transaxle. having 3 diffs does suck though.

See ya guys around. If you're in Socal, maybe you'll see my tail lights.

06 and 07 are my favorite STi's.... thats a nice car you have. you should race blake (addidas to go) when he gets back. he lives in socal and has a turbo automatic and i'm sure he'd be willing to race for fun

If he was a manual I would say he would have me beat. Since he is working on the second transmission in that Altima, and it's that weak CVT transmission, it would be a good race.

I have a GT35 (turbo), FMIC, meth injection, and a few other goodies.

Wow, you guys are nice. Had I posted this in the G35 forum, they would have freaked out and gotten really defensive.

I think I read in his thread about the turbo that it was not the CVT that failed, but some solenoid or something like that because of overheating I think. They engineer guy said they put some type of transmission cooler or something like that and it fixed it.

So in other words It was a $100 dollar fix instead of a new $2000 transmission. Maybe someone knows exactly what happened to it, I am sure what I said is not 100% correct

As Jack Nicholson said in the great movie The Departed, semi-automatic guns do not add inches to your d!ck, I think the same can go for bragging about a fast vehicle!

Never said I wasn't a D-bag. That would have been a false statement.

Confrontational, well yes, that is my nature.

Have I enjoyed seeing your replys... Yes.

Were you waiting for mine? Most of you no, but a few of you are curious.

Nope, the fast car doesn't add length to my d!ck, but when I step on the gas, and the turbo is spoolin, yeah, it gets bigger, just like when Marla comes to bed.

Okay, aside of the confrontational aspect of me being a douche, you have to admit that between comning stock with a turbo, and AWD, the STi is a superior car.

Oh, Blake replaced the entire transmission. He just did a few aftermarket repairs to make sure the new one will last a little longer.

Sti base - 36,0003.5 base - 26,000

Hmmm sounds like the cars are in completely different classes!

Lets not even talk about the fact that now they are making Sti's in that gross *** hatchback...

The altima coupe is a sexxy car, the STI is way to in your face agressive and totally

STi is an awesome car. I thought about buying one, but for my purposes, AC was the way to go. Enough sportiness that it is fun to drive, but can still be used as a daily driver. A good friend of mine had a nice black STi but eventually got sick of paying for the gas that thing eats and sold it, as it just wasn't suitable for any sort of commuting.

Once my finances are in order enough that I can afford insurance on an STi (once I'm 25+) and have enough money to buy a beater on the side to be a daily driver, I will most likely go that route.

Hope you have fun with it-- like another previous poster suggested, it's in a whole other class from the Altima Coupe--enjoy!

I just went to see a fully optioned out 2009 wrx sti hatchback in grey that was all shinny and let me tell you that the car in person with its wide bodykit is... gorgeous! I know that in the pics it always looks like ****, but damn is that car pretty, plus its got a big hatch and that is SERISOULY AWESOME. the recardo leather alcantara seats are hot in it too. seriously, if that car didn't FAIL so much arround town because of the race suspension and immense turbolag (spools at 4000K! useless arround town) it would have been car of the year. (well if it didn't understeer as much as it does too lol).

I think it's way better looking that crap darthvader faced EVO X

Why why does it wait so long to spool the turbo.

I am so not a fan of hatch backs. i thin they r gross. In person or not it is still not appealing to me.

Mehdi im not saying that the STI doesnt have nice features

all i am saying is that i dont like it, and that it is in a different class.

even with a gt35 your cars still awd and wont have the topend vs a v6 on the highway that only has to put power to 2 wheels not 4. p.s a gt35 turbo isnt that big for an sti maybe you should do your hmwk and i dont know why youd replace your up pipe only wrx came with a cat in them, so you didnt gain anything by changing it and 340 at the wheels is a dream buddy

yeah I understand, but did you see one in real life?that completely changed my perception of it. before I thaught that it looked like **** and that the old 05-07 sti were the best looking ones ever.

well after seeing the new ones I definitely love it. like really I think its a god damn pretty car in the grey color I saw it.

an 330hp with super low end massive 1200Krpm 295ft-lb of torque would destroy the world

now that's luxury and power and looks and warranty.
