So this weekend was the 626Drift Topgun Showdown! Pretty cool event, very competitive. I made Top 16, and that was good enough for me...

Some pics.

Then I bent a tie rod.

Woo hoo! All fixed again. Ready to qualify for Top 16!

Then during practice, I got "reverse" T-Boned. I spun, and the following car slid straight into my front, going sideways. Cool.

But the show must go on! Continued onto Top 8 Battle!

Unfortunately, I was having machine trouble, which caused me to lose...

Let the rebuild begin!

I want to get another car to be able to do this kind of stuff with.

I have NEVER been in a car while it is going sideways but i hear its a really nice feeling.

After i finish my current project. I plan to buy a coupe for this sorta thing.

Have fun with the rebuild! i bet there is a big amount of learning experience involved in the sport of drifting.

One Love,

Ghasty

Why did fixing the tie rod require removing the fender, headlight, and bumper?

I wish I had time to have fun.

Teddy drove so well this weekend.

How many of you would drive after a big hit like that?

I probably wouldn't have lulz.

I like how you kept going. That's what drifting is all about. *high five*

Btw, is your rad support bend badly? Or is it all sheet metal damage?
