it would be all good if i had a turbo , but untill then im stuck with the ka and 3" piping. Its not that big of a deal though. It just sucks i get pulled over and theres sooo many fart cannon exhausts out there that are 5x as bad.

So i get a notice for the ticket in the mail...

AMOUNT DUE: w/corr 653.00 wo/corr 731.80

now i dont know if i mentioned they also got me on no proof of insurance which i did and do have at the time. At the very bottom of the ticket statement it says:

INSURANCE VIOLATIONSYour insurance violation will be dismissed with a $10 dollar dismissal fee IF you can provide PROOF that the insurance was in effect PRIOR to 01/11/03.

So you guys think this fine is just them ramming me for no insurance?

just show that you had insur. on the date you got pulled over and that should get rid of that part of the fine. and thn do the silence, get checked, then remover silencer idea.

BTW i live like an hour away from you. live in oceanside... once i get my licence im up for a miny meet...

P.S. man i was up in hemet like everyday over the summer, got a friend that just moved, and only saw one 240, where the hell are all you temicula and murieta guys at and stuff... never see any 240s

Well first thing you should check is that if the Apexi N1 states that it meets California statute. I know that the HKS hiper and greddy exhausts do.

I got pulled over for the same thing but with no fix a ticket. Im taking it to court. Since I got school/work Im gonna be postponing the court date till summer cause I can't make any of it. Hopefully by the time it comes he will forget about it. In addition, he said its too loud. Man what a jerk.

Also I found out that my HKS hiper is 50 state legal so that cop is gonna feel real stupid for pulling me over.

Got slapped with a modified exhaust to create noise eh? I got one of those 2.5 yrs ago in conjuntion with a 4 point 180$ racing on public highways citation for being at tradeport durring the sat. street drags back then (my last street drag event might I add and it was the only time I didnt race too hehe). That was the only other thing he could slap on me, so he did.... He just gave my friend the racing ticket even though his TT z32 had 3" pipes sticking out the back only (straight from the downpipes). He didnt even write it down right and instead wrote down the citation number as tampering with emissions controll device. They are simillar in numbers but hes still a tool.

I hate that cop as I left my lights on with a weak batt, and it died there. I had no cables and he refused to help me out. They sat there watching and getting off, like OCS cops do, at my misfortune. Not only that, but they stayed the whole time as well, and we heard them laughing. We pulled the Z 1" from my rear bumper where I disconnected my 4 awg power from my distro block (I have enough excess to reach 2' out of the trunk), and disconnected the 18" of 4 awg ground cable and attached it to the frame on the edge of the trunk reaching his batt within 1" to spare. Quick thinking got my car going again.

As for the b**** a** cop well he schedualed a new date and his paper work got lost. It was for a monday at 8 hehe and he didnt want to go to it, so he reschedualed. Anyway I showed up he didnt and I won. Then a week later I get a refile notice hehehe, awww too bad for him. Serves him right...

My friend however delayed his and the cop showed, BUT it was the week following the presidents raid where they blocked it in and handed out all the citations the cops had on hand, 144 of them in total. He got laughed at royally by the judge and all the cops in the court that day..... He got off on points but payed the fine...
