they actually make excellent power equipment. the majority of things i've seen (tampers, stump grinders, and the like) have been powered by their engines. they're the only ones offering warranties that go beyond 12 months. john deere (my old mower that took a s*** on me after one season) is now using the same briggs and stratton engines that everyone else uses. apparently, a lot of things run like a deere. also, the honda is faster
well atleast you only bought a honda...i actually got a new job at a honda dealer starting on monday...
my dads old john deere was bought back in '93 and still runs like a champ today....only thing that regularly brakes is the wheel stud bolts that hold on the rear wheels break once a month.
wires? you mean the one, sole wire for the spark plug? i haven't even found that yet, then again i never looked. needs new wheels. stupid camber, stretched tires, and a ridiculous color.
My old roommate and I modded the hell out of a push mower a few years ago. Beer plus boredom and a torch equals cool s***. I wish I had a picture of it. It was a push mower that we flat blacked the whole thing except the motor it got painted metallic silver. We welded one of those big a** echo tips from a truck on it and extended the stud for the air cleaner and mounted a fancy one for a smallblock chevy on it. We stenciled deathwish and skull and cross bones on it. It was loud as hell and the stupid exhaust tip got hung on/hit everything but it was a fun night project. I eventually let some kid take it in for scrap that asked about it sitting by my house.
