Hey guys, I guess I will create a thread stating I've finally decided to go with a vert and picked up a project chassis last night.

Since it was a project vert, I guess I'm going to have to come up with something over the top? haha..

Anyways, took some time to do some research and have already found a small part of my day on my new found forum. :P

Pics of how horrible one has treated a vert to come...(once we get a new digi)

Who the hell let Coolwhip in here? There goes the neighborhood!

Just playing... Ricky, nice to have you in the 'vert forum my friend. You better get those pictures posted ASAP or else we'll boot you right back out of here. It's a big part of our culture here in the 'vert club... everyone has to post pictures when they introduce themselves.

Anyhow, for the rest of the gang, Ricky is a whiz! He's been building RB engines for quite a while and has become quite the expert. So it's always really nice to have another expert wrench turner in our midst.

Ricky, be sure to hit up the 'vert registry thread with your VIN # and stuff. We're keeping a registry since there are very few 'verts in the world.

Anything you need, let me/us know.

Everyday I walk through the garage and see my turbo sitting there mocking me. It's sad.

My car mocks me everyday! I haven't driven it since October/November or so of last year.

I have a big t3/to4e turbo sitting on the shelf in my garage as well... just waiting to go on there.

Yep, I have a brand new GT32, that's been sitting for 4 years or so.

Now that we've completely pirated this thread . . .

I have the last of my internals on the way and my next purchase is going to be a nice fat turbo. Then it's off to the machine shop for balancing and machine work. This winter the engine gets built and hopefully I'll have everything I need to get her boosted in time for summer! 25psi, here I come!

whoa! I guess I need pictures up ASAP to get this train back on track. haha.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Well, as for a turbo I haven't decided on what 'pair' will be fitted, :P

Seth will probably know which motor i'm refering to, as I'm considering using this vert carcus as it's home.

I've only seen it done one time (a guy in Arizona who rarely posts here). So it would be awesome to see it again. Get Godzilla in the car!

Guessing yall are referring to the 26. I'd love to have a 25 or 26 in my Vert, but really can't afford a project such as that.

Did you get a 30 block?!

I'll tell ya, if I were going to build an RB, I'd be waiting till I got my hands on a 30 block... Don't worry about me though, I've got bigger fish to fry.

However, if this is true...

I have a 30. But my plans are not that.

The above picture gives you an idea.

I'm very much looking forward to seeing that twin turbo rb20, quite frankly I hope to see it done before my vert is rolling.

Ricky, did the old engine start on fire in that 'vert? It looks charred... maybe it's just the pics. That's going to make for some spectacular before and after pics!!!

Alright, another vert with a bad *** swap. My VH45 is getting a set of twin spinny mufflers as well. I just need to sell my truck to get money for the adapter stuff!

Then I moved towards the engine bay since it had yet to receive any attention.

Proceeded to remove the radiator support which was damaged during it's first tow to the previous owner's house.

Plans: Custom square stock (quick to remove) radiator support, with all necessary brackets to the intercooler, ducting, condenser, and radiator.

Since I'm looking to do some crazy stuff with the engine, I'm going to be moving everything further into the nose of the car, acheiving more radiator to engine clearance.

Drilled out all the spot welds to remove the support. Both driver and passenger side have them in the same area.

Started mocking up some templates (for clearancing purposes)...

First 3 spot welds drilled out to get that ugly bracket off the side there
