UPDATE!some parts came in so i decided to install. LSD, shift boot and hatch struts.

FRESH out of box

decided id spray some high temp paint on it

several hours later....

hatch struts were shot so i picked up a pair for about $35.

random ebay shift boot i just slid on, will finish mounting it tomorrow.

oh yeah i forgot to mention that the LSD is a S13 VLSD from a HICAS car. works like a champ

UPDATE!

suspension had to go. front and rear shocks were beyond blown, i could use two fingers and pull the strut piston up and down like it was a toy. front was cut stock springs that didnt even seat and rear was ebay coils that didnt even seat. so what did i get? TANABE SUSTEC PROS









o and since i was tightening up the suspension, why not throw on some strut bars? EBAY SPECIAL







this is how the car sits as of now. about 3 fingers all around. ill adjust it when i get some fitting wheels, which may be a while from now lol.

yeah, but slammed on teardrops....pretty ****. when i get some nice fitting zero offset wheels, ill lower it back down. maybe ill sell u the teardrops when i get rims

well, now that i have the swap, i thought id share with with the NICO community. ahem... picked up the motorset and misc parts with it for .... 2K



hks ssqv, garrett gt2871 64 trim, greddy downpipe, meagan manifold, fmic, etc. the list goes on, i think i got a pretty good deal.

transmission... gonna replace the clutch while im at it...

SEMI cleaned it up a little and put it on the engine stand of course



Decided to drain oil and put new oil filter on it. 300zx M1-208 Mobil 1 filter FTW!



master nissan gasket it kit on the way, valve cover is gonna be repainted lol, clutch has about 10k worth of life left so im gonna just go ahead and replace it, etc etc. im gonna do it RIGHT instead of doing it TWICE, fixing everything i can while the engine is out o i do have one Q though, can the SR20DET flywheel be resurfaced? reason i ask is because the flywheel has four pins that stick out on the smooth side of the flywheel, not the geared side, and im not sure if machine shop can resurface? or is it a non serviceable flywheel? other than that, i will keep you guys updated on progress
