okay. FROM THE MOUTH OF A BODYMAN... REPLACE THE QP or FIND A NEW SHELL.

THERE I SAID IT!

for christ sakes dude, that thing is so stretched and mashed up, youve likely compromised structural integrity on inner welds for strut towers, rear seat panels etc. unless you do it the right way, as i stated above. its gonna be a waste of your time.

body filler (bondo, metal glaze, vette panel filler etc) is NOT for anything nearly that large. Anything larger than 6" square area (and even then it better be dollied and smoothed the best possible, will likely fall apart down the road.

one thing to remember. Bondo etc is PLASTIC. it flexes to an extent, but it does crack and WILL start to lift off the metal and fall out. a dent that deep is never going to allow the bondo to dry properly and lifting, cracking and falling out of the bondo is inevitable.

Take it as you may, you probably wont listen and seem like a naive young kid from reading your posts, but ive been in this buisness since i was 13 years old working for my uncle ronnie... i am not gonna steer you wrong
