I laugh my *** off when that happens. Ill be sitting at a light, and some kid will pull up and rev. he'll floor it, and i just sit there and laugh. Question for all of you civic drivers, is it the new trend to pull the hubcaps off of an LX? Ive got at least 8 civics in my area that are running around with a muffler tip and no hubcaps. Just wondering.

So long as were all gloating about kills, I impressed myself 3 nights ago when I raced a Boxter down a straight and into some twisties, I kept at least 2 car lengths the whole time. Pulled hard through the straight. Dont be afraid of porsches, most of the drivers are just owners with toy they know nothing about.

Ever think that he he wasn't racing and simply enjoying a little spirited driving with a fellow sports car owner?

I've done this with M3's, a car that I have no advantage on in any area whatsoever. Tearing down a road with him in pursuit staying a comfortable distance back doesn't mean I beat him in any way, it just means we were both enjoying ourselves.

As a matter of fact, yes it is.

The trend now is leaning away from huge heavy 17" & 18" wheels and resorting back to lighweight stock steel rims. It's a good thing, it means they are exercising a wee bit of logic when it comes to pimping their cars.

me thinks you may be right about him not racing, but he kept following me into every lane (like when I go around a slower car), he got up to like 100 cause he was with me at one point when I was at about 105.

Um, I have no hubcaps and steel rims...does that make me rice?

All my hubcaps were cracked, so I took them off. I think hubcaps look stupid anyway.

I agree with Not a Porche. There have been many cars that would simply rape me, but they didn't want to race, they just wanted to run and keep pace. There was a porche carrera behing me going through a twisty highway and he coulda blown past me, but he just chilled behind me up to like 115, and when I slowed down he just pulled next to me with a huge smile, gave me the thumbs up and drove off. I bet he was at least a little impressed that I could handle turns like him.
