After I get the GT25R and some headwork done, I think I might take a week off and go to TX. Just to race people. I live to race.

You sound a little like me. You also sound like your looking for a challenge. If thats the truth then you aint looking hard enough cause there is always someone faster. Just look. You should know because the WRX beat you. There is others around there like him, you just gotta find em.

Yeah, no problem. I'm not saying there arent' challenges. Remember this post is about the WRX smoking me. But it' hard to stay motivated when I can currently beat 95% of the cars out there, then getting my car into the 11s/12s just to beat the remaining 5%. That's why I'm glad I got beat. It's rare that I lose. So It makes me happy, because now i'm excited about getting it faster, so I WON'T lose next time. When you roll around and everyone is a good challenge it's more fun at times then just walking everyone. That's why when I go to the track I race in the domestic lane, the imports are always slow. There is maybe 2-3 cars running close to mine, and it's rare that i'll get a race with them. When I can race the domestics and MOST of them are as fast or faster.

BadFish and JDMfreak: I'm located about 45 minutes outside NYC and i work in manhattan. I know around here there are a bunch of 240's. My girlfriend works at Verizon Wireless in Orangeburg and i know of three other 240 owners there alone. on a given weekend i see at least 4 240s.

you see you can't race them on the straights, you have to trick them into going into the mountain passes, then you have to race them downhill, but don't bruise the tofu.

I used to take turns in my nissan truck and it would always slide really bad and spin out. (ya, I know it's a truck) I got a rear sway, bigger tires, lowered, etc. Still handled bad (ya, I know it's a truck). But it got me scared to take turns fast. I've noticed with my nitto drags I can take turns soo hard with no problem. The front tires start breaking first. There is a turns out here at NASA dryden here at work that everyone has like a challenge things. The current record holder is this dude with an SRT-4, who entered the turn at 40 and exited at 60, it's like a hairpin turn on rough/uneven ground. My friend spun his Mr2 out a few times trying to beat him, he had to enter at 55 to exit at 60 though (srt has more power). I know I can beat it, but i'm too scared.

Well I took the windstar on a hairpin and smacked a telephone pole. $5k to replace a damaged door and stretch it out. Im glad it only needed to be stretched a little bit.
