worked fine for me!DrewQ45 wrote:Okay I wanna hear it but what happened the video? Nothing @ that link.
I agree, thats a nice looking setup.. I think having no rear muffler is a great exhaust mod since there really isnt much to be gained from exhaust. Plus the Q is insulated and long enough that if you shoot the exhaust out theback its not going to be annoying in the cabin.Falkdesigns wrote:This guy on LuxuryJcars.com has this setup, which is what I think I'm gonna do now since I still haven't done a muffler. I just want much longer tips so you can't see where they start, but this looks great to me.
itd probably give it a deeper sound.... more rumbly and low pitched..lasoyafan wrote:nope just going to do the same to the right side as I did to the left
Well its just temporary until I get the cash for a body kit, then I'll be doing side pipes.elwesso wrote:

Yeah, I wouldn't keep those downpipes too long as carbon monoxide rises vertically. Don't sit idling with your windows open either.lasoyafan wrote:

Yea It's actually not that bad. I used a CO meter while the a/c was on outside air and it was safe. But yea I'm not planning on this being on for long. Only cost a few $ at autozone for the peices.DrewQ45 wrote:

Even with just your rear muffler removed you will get some exhaust in through the windows if you don't run a set of pipes to the rear in place of the muffler.DrewQ45 wrote:Yeah, I wouldn't keep those downpipes too long as carbon monoxide rises vertically.
