All you guys needed to do was CUt the Brown Wire from the "Headlight Retrator" swtich.

You cannot have sleepy eyes with the Light on.

It is only for the day time.

You turn on your headlight and tap the Retractor switch " 1 , 2" quickly~

SO:

headlights on,1. Tap once (it retracts) and then tap quickly again, and it will stop. \

keep tapping 1,2, 1, 2 etc, until the sleepy eye is where you want it.

I bet its your headlight switch (same switch as the turn signals, left of the steering wheel). If you have a friend that has an s13 too, swap switches to see if thats the problem. I'm pretty sure that it is tho...

DAYTIME SLEEPY EYES

MATERIALS NEEDED:-scissor-1 functional hand

STEPS:1. take ur functional hand and pop out the the retractor switch ( located top left above cruise control/ blank switch)

2. take the scissor and snip the "brown wire" behind the switch

3. pop the switch back in

***Now just follow DUCE40SX's instructions ^^^^^^ on how to use***

i know all that was unnecessary but i was bored

Hmm I was the guy with the original sleepy eye gone bad. I just blew a fusable link with my mis hap, its fixed now and the lit sleepy eyes mod works like a charm.

Sorry to hear yours is a much bigger deal, i'd speculate that its the blinker/ headlight switch too. I've dealt with a few shorted ones on other cars and it was always my last part to blame. But usually the problem.

wow...sleepy eye(lazy eye) how to...easy as pie...literally took 5 mins, now if i can find someone that can give me the 5minute fix to get my brakelights to work when i press the pedal i will be as happy as the guy who got a stripper-gram that has a "happy ending"...as far as the dude looking for the pop up switch...if you cant find it...you need your car keys taken away...left side of steering colum...you will see a a switch that pushes in and out...thats the switch to make the pop ups go up and down...the combination switch it that stick coming out the left side of the steering colum that turns the lights on and operates the turn signals

Dang this was my first mod and it only took 5 mins the day I bought my car. I removed the brown wire terminal from the connector in case I ever wanted to reverse the procedure it would be as easy as plugging it back in.
