That's an easy answer, some people just never get as comfortable with another person in the same bed and don't achieve sleep as well as if they were alone.

Sleeping in separate rooms would make morning sex so much more difficult. Nothing like waking up, rolling over, and boning.

i find it harder to get quality sleep with someone else in the bed. I can never fall asleep if im touching, not to say i don't like to cuddle tho. I would never go so far as to get my own room tho. I don't snore (or at least i have been told) so its not a problem. Plus, the option to do "slimy things" is always just within reach LOL

That's not her knee.

I sleep like a baby as long as Bex is there. On the rare occasions that I go to bed before her, I don't really get to a deep sleep until she comes to bed... Maybe it's a security thing, I dunno. It's kind of uncharted waters for me, since I always preferred to have "my space" throughout the night.

If the sun is up sex is not an option with my gf, it has to be night time and the lights off, usually when I just want to go to sleep. This usually starts the whole why don't you want to sleep with argument as I'm trying to go to sleep, which leads to an argument and me not getting the amount of sleep I need so I'm groggy and miserable the next day. I get up every morning at 6:15 (weekends I'm up by 8) and I usually don't get home until around 7pm so I only have enough time to eat, shower, and go to bed as I generally go to bed by 10:30. So yes, sleeping in my own bed in my own room would be awesome.

Before you all tell me to just dump her and move on, let me just say that despite the aggravation and frustration that she gives, I do love her and don't want to break up with her.

Sure, but if I say "surprise!" and we accidentally make magic, you have to move to the couch when its done.

I DO sleep with a knee to my chest. I also used to hog the covers. I hardly steal the covers anymore, and I'm trying to learn to keep my knees towards the wall, instead of the bed, but, I do prefer having Ryan in the bed with me. I feel like I sleep more soundly. I go to bed without him quite often, seeing as he works overnights, and I always find myself waking up at least twice a night, kinda "looking" for him. I just feel safer having him there.

But having an eighty pound mouth of teeth sleeping at the side of the bed, and two Springfields in the drawer by my head helps :gapteeth:

Well it happens unless you have a ride or die spouse, like my wife is a real tuff cookie. Im a very violent sleeper(thank you uncle same), and I fight and act out hand to hand combat in my sleep. Or at the slightest sound I jump up and out of bed with fist balled and ready to defend.. not to mention I grind my teeth terribly loud and have been known to eject her out of bed a time or 3, and remain perfectly sleep.. Dont scare me, or approach me without calling to me or stirring me some because it might result in a broken nose or jaw(as fellow service members found out). Im like Brock Samuelson from venture bros.. careful long story short, sleeping together is only for those who truely put 1000% into the relationship. If not hope that couch is really that comfortable, I didn't know tempurpedic made couches. :rotfl :woot:

But wouldn't "going off" prematurely be potentially deadly? :)

I think to sleep alone it's a good thing. That way there is that needed personal privacy behind the relationship.

Eh, my parents have been sleeping in seperate rooms since I was a kid. They do it because my mom wakes up in the middle the night and just rustles around.

I've slept on my own for most of my life, I find it cumbersome to share a bed with someone, because I toss around a lot myself. Didn't know it had such a high number of popularity though, 25%? Sheesh.
