Looking nice buddy. Keep up the good work and get that puppy assembled. I am approaching 10 years and my fully built engine still sits in my garage covered-up. I have too many projects with too many parts in my garage, so sometimes I just shut down and say screw it until I'm in the mood.

Just sold my spare set of tomei pistons, for a cheap price of 600 USD.... Some lucky guy in latvia brought them off ebay..... I was gutted with the sale price... But selling that spare set gave me the confirmation that i could afford these suckers !!

http://page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f101850483

So... have won these... And they come with 85mm pistons, So working out the 85mm pistons x 88 mm stroke from the tomei stroker crank i have a 1:0.92 stroke x bore ratio! should be able to give her some decent revs!! 9K rpm fully forged ca20det here i come.

Anyway... IF I can sell my other tomei pistons for 750 USD i will sell them... IF anyone is keen let me know! IF not... Ill keep them and make a spare bottom end up for when and if mine ever goes ka-put!

oh yeah.. and no dyno pics cos i broke up with the mrs... got a new amazing one now :) who is also a lover of nissans... she had a s13 with a 25det in it.... Got stolen though :(

remember folks. nothing WORTH doing, is done overnight.

when people rush through things, they end up bodging the sh ite out of everything, and its up for sale a few months/years later.

and in the grand scheme of things, 2, 5, 7 years ain't chit.

You had to be bored to go dig this thing up :yesnod. We all suck with these massive projects because life and it's obstacles is a wicked project in itself. Besides, he's a family man, so I personally understand him. So where are you with the d@mn project, man? j/k

LOL, yea, that intake manifold of his popped in my head and I wondered where it all ended up. I actually ended up emailing him. He responded and said the engine is at the assemblers now.

haha we all get a little bit bored some times dont we :)

floats right - The engine is at the assemblers now - Well known worldwide rally engine builder, Specialises in fj's, sr's and ca :)
Havent had much else time to work on this, Had our son on March 14th. ( attaching pic ) , Got my Jacked up 4wd for daily driving, My Nissan cima is awaiting some new rims from Japan and a few other bits and pieces. ( when I ask them to actually send everything lol )
Havent brought anything for the car for a while though. except a replacement Osgiken clutch plate as the last one I brought through here with the tomei crankshaft had some broken pieces which needed full replacement.
I cant wait to get the motor back. The guy building it is so oldschool he doesnt even know how to operate a digital camera to email me pic updates.
Buy as soon as I get it back Ill take some pics and maybe sit it in the hole... ;) Then i can slowly start tinkering.

my 2 boys!

Good looking boys, brother :shifter: Your life's responsibilities literally has shifted, so I understand you 100%. As for the car, it'll be there when you're ready for it.

Totally have shifted. Its not that we don't have the money for it.... but. Instead of buying a new PWR barrell intercooler, And new suspension..... I have built a Gigantic Deck around half my house, Brought a 60" tele, New HIFI system...... lol.
As we all know... good things take time. It took 3 years to get the engine bay painted :) hahaha.

I have been painting and installing my steering system and been trying to get the front back together and rolling.
So I need to paint a few more of my adjustable arms, and hubs, replace a few rosejoints. and bolt bits back in. So should have some pics in the next 2-3 weeks for you all. No engine up dates yet... I am scared of the bill i will receive lol.Oh well - Whats done is done hahahaha.

I purchased a spare osgiken flywheel setup as one of my clutch plates was stuffed, Also I have some Ikeya formula s14 rear lower arms I will renew and install.

today - I purchased some pretty rear gaurds. The make... im not 100%. But they are 70mm wide. Attaching a pic. Hopfully someone may know what brand they are lol.
