Thanks man. I've seen your car once i think. It's a gorgeous Kouki. Be sure to come talk to me if you see me around.k_c_b wrote:Nice car man, I just realized you live in OK. I live in the same area just more in Owasso and Tahlequah. I don't really know many people with 240s around here.
i disagree the 350 is an amazing motor.it may be overused but its not overratedspooled240 wrote:noooo! not another freakin 350!! That engine is already over-used and over rated in the hot rod/muscle car world imo.
It would've been Friday. If you see me say something. Haha.k_c_b wrote:I think I saw you driving this past Friday or Saturday night at 61st and memorial, I was in my girlfriends car though.
Thanks a lot man. She's got her ups and downs. But so does every car. I'm just glad that I have the opportunity to build the car. Even tho it's running me tight on cash. Oh well, it will be worth it in the end.HallEwould wrote:you've got one clean s14...very very beautiful

Ya you're right, I would've chased you down but I was going the opposite direction lol. You should go to the humble meet in Owasso November 8th.Slammed95S14 wrote:

Yeah... That's not a good idea. I used/still kind of work at a performance shop called VDP Motorsports. I'm sure you've heard of our shop. All the Humble people don't really like me to much. It's not my fault we took all there business.k_c_b wrote:

It's probably just a better idea for me not to go. I'm not one for drama. Besides I'll be to busy doing the swap in my car. Haha. But be sure and stop by sometime man.k_c_b wrote:Oh lol, I'm sure nobody would care but it's up to you man. Ya I've been at VDP a few times for the dyno day and what not. I also sold a vafc to someone there off my old civic lol.
I won't be there this weekend. But the weekend after that hopefully i'll be starting. I'm still waiting on stuff.k_c_b wrote:Ya I understand, maybe I can stop by and check out your swap that weekend since I'll be in town and since I plan on doing an sr or ka-t eventually.
Agreed. Do basic suspension work first. Might be able to eek out with some aggressive pads + SS lines at first, but Z32 calipers would be ideal.spooled240 wrote:^ i see, well then like Adrian said-Finish up suspension and make the car ready for the rb25. I would recommend brakes as well to handle the added HP.
I have to say from my personal experience that 250rwhp on stock suspension is not very fun other than a straight line...just recently I have installed decent suspension mods like sway bars, and solid sway bar and TC rod bushings and I'm loving them so far
Yeah, I had planned on doing the rest of the suspension set up after the swap. 300zx brakes and master cylinder, traction rods, ball joints, the usual suspension upgrades.l0nestar wrote:

I wish I had an S14 because the stock R33 sway bars that I have will bolt up, along with the rear sub-frame.
RB25> SR20. But it is more work and more involved, yet has a better payout in the end. LSx >all though
More recently I have begun to wish I had not done my swap, simply because it places me in an 'Unlimited' class..
Your car looks slick. Now get out there and bash the hell out of it learning to drift!
I was just driving it when it started to act up. I think it was the MAF wiring. Because it was acting like the MAF wasn't responding.slipnfall wrote:Just curious - what were you doing when the KA took a dive? Was it from valve float, guide failure?
