I thought a low car had a lower center of gravity and handles the best maybe if he had skinny tires it would handle like sh*t but he's got some wide ones on thereadrians_s13 wrote:
honestly dude... I'd say go and complete your suspension (i.e. tie rods, tc rods, rucas, rear toe.... at least) before you even consider getting an RB25.
I mean, you can have soo much more fun with full suspension and some kind of locking diff (welded or 2 way) than having 200+ whp
not only that, but once you have a somewhat complete suspension setup, your car can better handle more power...
I mean, I'm not trying to bag on you or anything, but I bet at this ride height, you're car handles like sh*t
I figure after going so low the car has no travel room thus making it bump around...at least thats my theory.spooled240 wrote:I thought a low car had a lower center of gravity and handles the best maybe if he had skinny tires it would handle like sh*t but he's got some wide ones on there
car looks great, the anniversary Z wheels look awesome
yeah, lower center of gravity, yeah, but you're suspenion arms have to accomodate to the ride height. The oem arms are designed to work and function correctly at stock height, so when you lower it a lot, it's effectiveness is reduced. I mean, you'd be okay with the height of the average lowering springs, but when you go super low with coils, the angle at which the tie rods are angled become more inclined (they are supposed to be parallel to the ground), resulting in less of a steering angle and it also adds bump steer (you know, when you hit a bump on the road, it gets hard to steer the wheel because it moves with the bump). Not to mention, rear camber gets so negative that tire to road contact is greatly reduced...spooled240 wrote:I thought a low car had a lower center of gravity and handles the best maybe if he had skinny tires it would handle like sh*t but he's got some wide ones on there
well, most newer coilovers are dual height adjustable now, not like old school onesRazi wrote:No suspension travel = crappy ride and handling
Ok,spooled240 wrote:noooo! not another freakin 350!! That engine is already over-used and over rated in the hot rod/muscle car world imo.
couldn't agree more! don't do a v8 garbage swap. stick with a Nissan motor man. any1 got something to say to me for my above statement, is welcomespooled240 wrote:noooo! not another freakin 350!! That engine is already over-used and over rated in the hot rod/muscle car world imo.

because, both 5th and 6th gear is considered O/D gears. your going 80mph at like 2k rpm.240lookis wrote:oh ****. i guess i didn't do my research. i had no idea the numbers were so good on the corvette.
