I made one for my truck. i was easy because i only had to make one bend. it's crazy thick so i thought i would heat it first before i bent it, but then i found a nice corner and some leverage to bend it. then i drilled in some holes to bolt it on. it just sucks taking that heavy beast down and up when i change the oil.

that's my whole build on my truck. it's in the middle of the first post. look for 11/17/12 or scroll till you start seeing spark plugs, if you see my headlights in the oven, then you over shot it.
there's only 2 pictures, 1 with what i started with and then another with the finish plate after i cut it, bent it, and bolted it on. I didn't think to take more pictures, it was a pretty simple shape for the front of the pathy.

A company called ZSpeed made the undershroud I used on my 370 and it was fantastic - complete with an oil change door. I would google that to get an idea. The Altima might be a tad trickier as the 370 came with an undershroud from the factory, so it already had proper mounting points.

Went to a sheet metal shop. Gave them my plastic "skid plate" as a template. They came up with this:

It works great. No more snow drifts tearing up my plastic plate.
