So I am new to searching for new rims for my 08 Nissan Altima Coupe. So I found some rims that i really like and i have seen them on other altima coupes and the dimensions for the rims are 5-110 bolt pattern and on tirerack.com it says that my car has 5-114 bolt pattern. Is there any way these would fit or is this a really stupid question? I dont know how close you have to be for them to fit or if they have to be the exact size.

Thanks for the help,
Nick

5x114.3, or you're just wasting your money. also realize that a +30 offset has your tire sitting pretty much flush with the fender, so if you're lowered you need to be weary of rubbing.

is'nt 5x114 the same as 5x114.3? i always heard that 114.3 just gets abbreviated to 114... 5x110 def is a different size though

is there any way you can change the bolt pattern for your car? if so what would you have to do to do this?

okay thanks. do you think you can explain this a little more? does it cost a lot and easy to install? or does it have to be done professionally? so if you do get that adapter does it just fit any rims or do you have to get an adapter for the new size you want?

Post a link to these wheels you want, manufacturer's usually make wheels in a few bolt patterns, some even have multiple patterns on the same wheel. Mine for example will fit both 5 x 114 and 5 x 100, there are 10 drilled holes for 2 different patterns.

5 x 114 is same as 5 x 114.3, it gets abbreviated as stated above.

YES, some companies just abbreviate 5x114.3 as 5x114.

you just need hub adapters. they're just an adapter that fits over your existing lugs and changes the bolt pattern. they also create bigger offset though, so you have to get the right size to make sure your wheels don't stick out too much

check out this link and scroll down to hub adapters http://www.serpentautosport.com/HTML/Hu ... l#Adapters

or just go here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Wheel-Hu ... 0282742742 click on the right part number, the one that converts from your original car hub which is 5x114.3 aka 5x4.5 to 5x100, also pay attention to the bore size, i believe our cars are 77.1 bore

Altima Coupe bore size is 66.1...

And I would call the manufacturer to see if they do indeed make those wheels in a 5 x 114 bolt pattern before buying hub adapters. They probably do, ask them what distributor you can buy them from, and save yourself the money of the hub adapters on top of the $1,000+ you are going to pay for wheels. Just because they arent listed on eBay doesnt mean they dont exist.

Moda wheels are a tire rack specific brand. I believe at one time they were made by bbs but are now owned by tire rack. I am pretty sure the md2's are discontinued, have been for a while. That wheel on ebay was the only one they had. It even states " only one wheel left". Your best bet is to find some used ones are start looking for something else. Sorry dude.

yeah they're discontinued, i was looking for them a while ago cause i thought they were dead sexy. i think ESP and phenom had them. they were priced really good too.

i'd suggest you try to find some other rims that fit properly without needing to use a wheel adapter

i totally want to get these as soon as i finish paying off my A/C!!! (in 2 yrs). but, by the looks of it, they prob wont be around :bang

only ones i've been able to find were here: http://www.genesistuners.com/product.ph ... 254&page=2

they're 18's though. 40 offset and 5-114 pattern!
19's are the way to go. ebay had these in 19's in the summer, but i was too poor to purchase them. the only 19's on ebay now are with a 5-110 pattern though :crybaby

i've yet to see md2's in 19's with 5-114 pattern since then, unfortunately.

remember, go big or go home :mike
