According to some users the forums are "dying" so since I was bored yesterday I figured I would snap some pics of me fixing the stillen sag. I know someone has already explained what to do in simple one post but I wanted to add a few picture to make it simpler for everyone.
And I get to show off my car since not everyone here is friend with me on Facebook :tisk:

So to start with you will need:
a very strong piece of metal about 1"+ wide and roughly 3/16th's thick
Steel drill bit (cobalt)
Drill
Reciprocating saw with thick metal saw blade.
ImageImage
Image
Once you have all of the supplies you will need measure the distance from the front of the Fascia to the black support bar that you will be drilling into in order to force the Fascia to stay up.
Image
It shows a little less than 8" from the black bar to the front of the stillen. I just cut 8" cause im lazy but if you want to me more specific and cut it to the exact specifications by all means.
Image
Then you will need to drill a hole about 1.5" from one of the ends of the metal. This is the location where you will drill a screw into the black bar forcing the stillen to stay up.
Image
Once you are done this is what the metal bar should look like.
Ok now that you have one done you will need to cut another just like and you will put one on each side.
ImageImage
Once the bars are in place it will bend the plastic a little but your sag will be fixed
Image

And now some of my newest mods
ImageCustom Quad exhaust IsF Series exhasut with new roof spoiler thanks to Daniel K :dblthumb:
ImageImage Custom Audi lights :naughty: Image Sorry for the Iphone quality pics. Digital camera of course had no battery And a special thanks to Brett aka CoupeCrazy for staying up till 2am reading my texts when I spent 2 hours trying to open each headlight  You helped out a lot.... no h0m0 :chuckle: And hopefully we get to see you this summer

thanks for the how to :bigthumb: I need to do this with mine. but I also got to fix the gap under the headlights and how on one side the fascia pops out a little... basically the same problems everyone else is having lol

the front of your car looks bad a**! do you have the LED strip hooked up to the wires for the fog lights? how the light output while driving? or is it more for just looks? Stillen needs to come out with a mounting bracket or something for fog lights in the fascia. It can be done, theirs enough room for the fog lights, just a pain in the a** trying to make them face straight instead of having the light shoot off to the sides.

Thanks Hussain,
Yeah I have them hooked to a rocker switch down by my feet in the car so I can shut them on and off when a cop rolls by. I just like to limit the amount of looks I get from the cops right now :chuckle:
The bottom led strip is not really functional as a light its more for show... But damn do I ever get stopped for it. Everytime I get gass I leave them on of course  so I can the looks! And everyone is always like whoa those are so cool do they come stock.... Nahhh thats all me

its not just the infamous fascia sag, it's also the gap under the headlights, the way it pops out on one side. I thought maybe I just installed it wrong but several people are having the same issues. swrong was asking about the headlight issues, dangeris was saying how he fixed the popping out the side problem (but I dont understand how lol) Bmore was saying he used zip ties for the popping out the side issue. so its pretty much everyone with the fascia has issues. which is surprising because stillen prides themselves on quality. but in the end, it looks waaaaaaaaay better then stock so I'm happy.

oh and one member did try to get a partial refund but claimed that stillen wouldnt respond to his emails or something.

Plus Ive F'ed up so much on this car it doesnt really matter.

but from the posts i've read so far about the fascia, stillen never really address the sag and other issues.
shouldn't they take initiative to solve this problem since pretty much everyone on the forum praise stillen on its customer service, but i don't see them do anything so far with all the fascia issues

Just be smart use this as ammo for your next stillen purchase. "You know I have been really happy with stillen. I have purchased many items from you because I have always been told that stillen is the top of the line and I have been extremely satisfied with your products. That being said I did have a few problems which I believe to be manufacturer issues. I reciently purchased the stillen fascia and have had several issues with the install. List problems and ask for a discount on your whatever you are ordering"

Thats what I would do

yup, i still have sagging issues with the drivers side, and it's starting to get worse. =/ everytime i get out of the car i try and pull it up and push it back in to see if it'll hold better. but no such luck. :frown:

I did this a while ago:

I don't know of anything to fix the headlight gap, but I fixed the "popping out on one side" issue with a ziptie. Still a pain in the a** though.

Yeah Alphapig I stole this idea from you :chuckle: I just took the pics while doing it so I figured I could help out anyone who hadnt fixed it.... ps great idea :-)
as for the exhaust I have a few more pics on my facebook ([email protected])
But its a little crooked :frown: but I spent 10 hours on it so I didnt feel like fixing it plus I was having a buddy help me and he had to go to work so I didnt want to keep him.
But I took 4 pipes for a Cadillac and welded them together/ then welded a piece of sheet metal to the back cut a hole in the back and cut the tips off the ebay exhaust then welded on  I def love the look though Id like to see more quad exhaust AC like me and Hussain :fistpumping: :fistpumping:

Thanks :bigthumb:

It's unfortunate that these desperate measures have to be taken to make it look nice haha

I actually took out that black plastic clip part that the fascia clips on to on the side.

I hooked the ziptie to the fascia by the tabs that would otherwise go into the black plastic clips. I looped it around something in there... It helps having the wheel off.

So on the drivers side all that's holding the fascia is the few black plastic clips under the headlight, a ziptie, and that screw nearly in the wheel well. Works fine though

yea i have no idea what u just said... lol well i just went outside and looked at it and under the hood to try and figure out how to fix it. and still no luck. maybe if the drivers side was raised at an angle so it would be higher than the passenger, that "might" get rid of the sag. not sure tho. not even sure if that's even possible. but it is looking REALLY bad. and idk if it'll damage anything with the light or anything else under the hood with an opening being there...

do you guys think if i took it to a shop, like a repair shop, that they would know how to fix it? since they have more expierence fixing things than a paint shop (where i got mine done)

take off your front fascia. on the driver side where the headlight and fender meet, theirs a big black plastic piece right below. that is what the fascia clips into. I think what alphapig was talking about was unscrewing that piece and using a zip tie.

i just bought the metal piece to fix the fascia sag. doing some construction in the backyard with my dad tomorrow so I'll see how I'm feeling after that, maybe ill work on my fascia.

so did u just take 2 strong metal bars & wedge them underneath the top panel of the bumper??? n of coarse drill one side into the frame for the support???
