Hey guys, still no updates but I got a question that I hope you can help with. I know there is about a 100 of these threads but, I got a good deal on a set of z32 rear brakes along with complete ebrake setup. Drum cables etc.

I heard people saying only the 2+2 setup will work but the stuff I'm trying to get is from a TT. I need to get on it asap but Im not sure if it will work. I already looked through a lot of these z32 brake conversion threads but they are not clear at all.

Thanks in advance for any help

I payed 450 for it, but I got the new full stainless steel design. It is completely shinny unlike others that are just half way lol. I guess much better for rust prevention.

Hey ladies I'm back. I've been bery busy working and doing other stuff. Although I don't have any pics of the progress on my 240, there's a lot of new stuff going on.

I recently purchased NEW OEM 180 Type X side skirts and NEW Origin Type 1 20MM S13 Silvia fenders and corners lights. I must say these side skirts are plain beautiful and the fitment is superb (oem) My Silvia conversion is complete, I just have to install it. Next is prep the engine bay and viola!! Again sorry for no pics.

I have a favor to ask of you guys. I have yet to see a hatch 240sx with s13 Silvia conversion, Origin fenders, and 180sx Type X side skirts. Can some one please post a pic or link me to some? I really wonder how the s13 conversion will look with these sides. Already looked through countless threads and google but nothing.

Scuffed_Chuki: as I stated before, I have not installed any of it yet so sorry no pics.

WC: I wanted to keep it a secret for some reason, BUT since I know you are building a complete 180 Type X 240, I will tell you. Believe it or not, I got them for $200!!! NEW in the NISSAN boxes (4 piece skirts) still wrapped and they come painted black identical to my 240's paint color. I got them locally, picked them up myself.

Im so thrilled I can't wait to install those puppies. I did a mock up and they look AWSOME. I will be getting NEW OEM Type X rear valances for a steal as well.

thats a steal. i paid $600 for mine, did you drill the holes for the tabs to mock it up, or did you pull the little plastic tabs out?

600? Where they new?

I took out all the small plastic push on clips so it could be flush with the body. I had my cousin hold it up and used double sided tape to hold up the extensions. They fit PERFECT.The thing that kind of scares me is the fact that I will have to drill out holes along the rockers to mount them the proper way. Same goes for the fenders. I will post pics of them manana.

Its still there. lol I just gotta install the upper/lower oil pan, and put the head back together since I got a complete new timing components from phase2.

I actually ended up getting a Cometic head gasket lol. After all the crap I said that I will never get one, I ended up with it. $250 was just too much for an HKS or Tomei or Apex.

I need your help again guys. I was about to order my wheels today (MB Battles 17x9.5 +15mm offset) but I'm kind of skeptical.

Isn't 9.5 a little TOO wide for a DD? I know some guys in here have them on s13's but still. I plan on getting RUCAS to adjust camber and for the front I have Origin fenders so rolling is no longer possible. Worst part is that im not running coilovers, I have AGX/TEIN combo. And NO I still don't know what size tire will be used.

Will the front tires cause any problems such as rubbing? (no longer have fender liners)

Can any of you guys with s13 and MB Battle wheels give me some input?

Thats a little too wide, I wouldnt buy wheels yet tho... I would get coilovers and maybe run some s13 SE's or teardrops, i was going to get wheels, but got a set of teardrops off my buddy for cheap, now im getting coilovers in 5 days.... I would say get rid of your spring strut combo and go for coils.

Just my 2 cents, and 17x9 would work well all around I think... Idk about not being able to roll the fenders.

Well I do have some aftermarket wheels but they look horrible. They are so sunken in they're like 40mm offset!! My car will have type x sideskirts, rear valances and a piggy front lip so i don't want it to look like crap with ugly wheels.

Anybody else?

do what i'm doing, a stagger of 9 in the front and 9.5 in the rear. and don't worry about getting coils first, if you want the wheels first go for it. i'm getting wheels before coils cuz i will need more traction

I would do that but MB Battles aren't offered in 17x9". And I'm not too worried about coils, its just that I want it to look good with the Type X aero.

BTW WC: I picked up those rear valances and rear Z32 calipers for 200 . I kind of regret going with the Silvia front, I want to go FULL Type X now including front.... too late

Actually my VC and pulleys have been this color for a LONG time. Your VC is a lighter blue AND mine has metal specs in it. I love that Duplicolor paint
