wooohooo for head!!!In response to your question about body work if you can afford it I would do it now, the last thing you want is for everything to be done EXCEPT body work in a couple months when the birds are chirpin and car shows are going down while your car is in the body shop lol

And dont trip on the wheels I am in no rush

Yea man. I was doing some calculations on cash and came to conclude that I will not have enough cash to take the car to the body shop. At least not in a couple of weeks

I just called Windy City and I wont be able to get my cylinder head. The guy said it would be ready by 2-3, but I gotta leave to work at 12:30. They close at 5 so I guess I have to go and pick it up tomorrow.

ok I got my cylinder head back!!

I went over the shop today at 1 and they told me that it still wasn't ready because they had gotten the wrong valve stem seals (KA24DE type) It was supposed to be ready within the hour. 2 hours pass and nothing, I go get my hair cut and just as I go in there they call me saying its ready.

Ran over and there she was, ready to be bolted down the block.

Specs of the work:3 angle valve jobER exhaust manifold studsInspected and cleaned all componentsNew Bronze valve guidesNew valve stem sealsNew core plugsCompletely assembled and shimmedAnd all the crap they usually do to a head as well as test it for airflow etc.

The head still has all OEM components since they are in good condition except the guides and obviously the shims/guides.

It look pretty good but they did paint it some light grey color just like lilpiton warned me about, but its ok I don't mind. Sorry I still dont have a camera and I don't want to take the shrink wrapping off to prevent any contaminants from getting in there. I will post up some crappy phone pics later.

I now need a headgasket, Im thinking a nice Tomei gasket will make its way in between.

Now do you see why I told you they seemed like a-holes. The mods there are straight d***s. I'm not on there but came across the site and decided to check it out. As soon as I get there some guy was burned alive, just because he asked about what body kit some guy had.

Fu** them straight in the a**, we dont need that kind of people.

Thats sucks your friend wrecked his 240.

I will be glad to sell you the light assembly. However, they are not complete. They are fully functional and all they just dont have that metal braket in the back with the spring to adjust them. You can buy those separate because mine were all nasty so I threw themout. I also have 4 of the metal headlight covers if interested. Let me know whatyou need.

I will try to get pics up by tomorrow.
