it also sucks because its for push in hoses instead of being threaded.

for a chuki bumper? i say mount it behind one of the blinkers, since theres the opening underneath each one.

itll get its own little flow of air for best oil cooling without obstructing the FMIC.

if you have no a/c, take condenser out. then tons of airflow for it.

well im sure youll have to reposition some stuff behind the bumper, but you should be able to squeeze it in there.

pop off your bumper and see what you can work out.

Mishimoto makes a good radiator, ive got one. good stuff, i think.

i say take the bumper off, test fitting the cooler in different locations, then just run the lines after you find where itll fit best.

^^^ we're you planning on using a thermoswitch. It allows the oil to bypass the oil cooler during start up and then opens up when it gets hot. I've been looking into setting up an oil cooler myself but don't know where to get that switch. Any ideas?

rx7 oil coolers has a internal thermostat that opens up at a certain temp. I forgot what temp though.

I believe it opens at 145 degrees F. I remember it being kinda low.

So does the rx7 oil cooler have 2 passage ways? One from inlet to outlet end tanks and one that goes through the cooler. If that's the case, I'll be going that route.

no i think just one. I think the lower pass way is the thermo stat. I think it just opens once the oil gets hot then go to your block after wards. So both hoses will be almost the same length. IF u mount it to the farest on the passenger side front bumper then you might not need more than 2-3 feet of plumbing.

heres a of rx7 cooler i have lying around to get the idea.

Very detailed and helpful right up. So let me get this straight, if I add this thermostat:

http://vichubbard.com/auto-par....html

I'll just need about another foot of ss braided line, 2 more fitting, but wouldn't need the block adapter plate (TRD-1013) right? I'll probably be going that route now.
