late again i know.... i do have a freshly removed open diff, and 2 j30 vlsd's. the open has only been beat on by my sr for like 10,000 miles. and it only took me 2 hours to completely swap a j30 diff into my car. and its so nice to drive, it hits hard and keeps the car straight on the road and lets it get sideways in the parking lots when i want it to. the under steer with it is soo much smoother. the car has confidence and control unlike an open or welded diff could ever give. rockin royal purple in everything all day long and s*** wont break. my first 240 with vlsd went through 2 drift events being DD inbetween and beat whenever i wanted to take out some just fine, and seen another day and went with the 240 that i put it on. never had a problem. if your worried about a welded diff breaking with a stock motor, just think if you start having more than 130 crank HP. i know im 235 at the wheels, ill have to find the dyno sheet if its needed, i dont think i would trust a welded diff as far as i could throw it.
oh yea i now have marks s14 in my garage, i guess were pullin the ka out to do some gaskets, and clean that thing, and remove egr, avi, and all the other bulls*** emissions crap.
