it was according to nissan a bad mc.and i highly doubt its still going to be in its current state when it gets warm out... its my daily lol.but when it does get warm out i have a pretty sweet project that i am going to need a s***load of help with if anyone is willing to.check it out

fully balanced crank, the head is build with supertech dual valvesprings supertech valves (.5over i think), 272 kelford stage 2 turbo cams, the pistons are .05 overbore i believe, which i have the bored block that they will fit into in the other garage, i just didnt feel like luggin it over to take a picture.

so its my 8000rpm redline 650hp project its been sucking all the money out of my hands for the past year.

Gilberts automotiveits on the same street as HACC out by costco.they have a reputation based more around V8's, but my god do they know how to build a motor. seen v8's from them puttin out 700 horses with 700 ft/lbs before so they know when they are doing.all in all getting every single hole bored out and gettin the head assembled and the crank polished/balanced and a bunch of other s***, it costed 1,012.30

late again i know.... i do have a freshly removed open diff, and 2 j30 vlsd's. the open has only been beat on by my sr for like 10,000 miles. and it only took me 2 hours to completely swap a j30 diff into my car. and its so nice to drive, it hits hard and keeps the car straight on the road and lets it get sideways in the parking lots when i want it to. the under steer with it is soo much smoother. the car has confidence and control unlike an open or welded diff could ever give. rockin royal purple in everything all day long and s*** wont break. my first 240 with vlsd went through 2 drift events being DD inbetween and beat whenever i wanted to take out some just fine, and seen another day and went with the 240 that i put it on. never had a problem. if your worried about a welded diff breaking with a stock motor, just think if you start having more than 130 crank HP. i know im 235 at the wheels, ill have to find the dyno sheet if its needed, i dont think i would trust a welded diff as far as i could throw it.

oh yea i now have marks s14 in my garage, i guess were pullin the ka out to do some gaskets, and clean that thing, and remove egr, avi, and all the other bulls*** emissions crap.

Better jump on that s***!Josh is our craigslist extraordinaire, he's always browsing even if he doesn't have garage space!

I'll be sure to keep a lookout for all of you I haven't met yet. There's some guy with a red s13 who used to hang out at wafflehouse off 30 where my gf works, not sure if any of u would be him.

Bersh I'll be in the city tomorrow. I'll aim u

quick opinion guys. as some of you know after the meet my car started missing and completely shut off. it hasn't fully turned over since. today i found time to check the spark plugs and this is what i found. the last plug had a decent amount of oil on it compared to the first 3 that were dry. the coilpack also had a crack going down the side but didn't look too serious. would replacing them (last replaced about a year ago) help much?

and my first coilpack looked a little rusty like this for some reason. thoughts?

Yours don't look too bad. I would redo your injector O rings in the fuel rail though if you haven't yet. That's a very small difference in plug tip color.

I'd say it's something else. Coil pack is just messy from being outside at one point in its life, take a look at the spring inside that contacts the plug, see if its rusty.Ignitor? What are the symptoms man?
