Ah, well from the back it looks basically identical haha. Redded out tail lights, same style wheels, and lowered. After I posted I realized he has the xxr wheels, but hey the look about the same.

I love my welded. <3

Doug, do either you or Keegan have a spare diff like at your houses atm??? Dante wants to weld it up for me, Keegan says I shouldnt, but I wanna get on it, and spin both wheels. I'll pay for it if i have too.

I've had my tails like that since like 05 s0n lol. Best usdm tail setup imo. We'll have to meet up and you can convince me to go lower on my mexistretch tires lol.

And yeah ZK I'm gonna have to make that into sig material because that is a great pic, even if everyone can tell it's hard to match hatch paint on that blue pearl oe job .

HEY ESSE! HOW DOES I MAKE BOTH WHEELS SPIN???

I have a welded and it's not that bad. Definitely makes the track a lot more fun. My only complaint is that I have a stripped out diff snout bolt so whenever I take slow corners there is a really loud clunking that comes from the rear end haha.

You got me beat then haha, I did mine like 2 years ago. what size tire are you running right now? I'm sure you can go much lower, just dial in some more camber. I'm running 195/50/r16's, but then again I'm x8 +9 and you're x8 +0. I'm sure you can make it work.

I have two spare opens in my garage. One in my old pumpkin, which I'm keeping as a spare. The other is just the guts, but it's pretty beat one... I don't know if I would trust it being driven on. You can have that one for free, no problem, if you want it.

Joel you don't drive your car as much I'd say go for it. Once you learn to swap a pumpkin you'll be fine if you ever wanna make it more nonundersteery again. Then when starkos sets a date, you and I and the rest are good to gooooo!

We has the same tire sizeeeee haha... Yeah i'm 0 offset. It's not the camber that's keeping me from going lower, it's the speed bumps and the fact that my exhaust flex fitting is already ripped to shreds... I need to learn how to fab up a downpipe that is tucked more because I have one lying under my bed.

I'm rocking a welded right now and cannot wait until I can afford a two way. The car steps out way to easily now.

Well, if its pretty beat up that would be better for welding it solid right? Question is, do i need a new pumpkin for it? So that It can be welded?

Beat up as in we jammed a 2 foot screwdriver in the spider gears to keep it from falling over. We then jammed a 3 foot 1/2" drive breaker bar through the bearing area to keep it from moving side to side. I stood on the breaker bar while Keegan loosened the ring and pinion bolts because the impact we had couldn't break them. It was at around 2:30 in the morning the night before drift school. It SUCKED so bad. Didn't get to bed until 4:30 and woke up at 8am to throw the fan shroud on.

Keegan still hates me for it.

Hahahaha I love ridiculous ways of breaking bolts loose, especially extremely early in the morning. My neighbors loooooove me.

Well Doug, with it being beat up, It should still be fine to weld up right? and throw in the pumpkin. I'm so worried about the gears as long as we can weld em solid. Im just worried about where the axles enter in the pumpkin, will it still roll smoothly? If you say it will work, I'll get it from you and find a shop, I'm too nervous with it being welded by me or any of us, no offense to Jeff's brother or Dante, I'm just gunna go with my gut and get someone that welds to get it done right the first time, that way It doesnt snap on the road for me or I cause damage to something else.

Yeah, I don't blame you, dude. Worst case is talk to Keegan, his neighbor is a master welder. If you want, he'll weld a plate in it, which is the strongest for welded diffs. Most places will put a spot weld in between each spider gear, which can break. Oh, on Zilvia Blu808 is doing his welded diffs for $30 for premie members, but you have to ship it out and back.

understandable. my brother's welded a ton of stuff for me and just in general, but i dont expect you to have confidence in someone you don't know.

Oh its there...but when it comes to this car...i cant afford any backwards progress....Im not doubting anyone's ablilties or talents, I'd just rather know 100% that its safe, and if it does break, that way I wont be pissed off with any locals, I can be pissed off with a shop. I value having everyone's respect, to some people thats more important. LOL....fast and furious reference there. I wouldnt wanna have a diff welded by a local guy, it break free on me in a drift, i get snap oversteer and go straight into a pole, and me hate the person who welded it. I hope you all understand my thought process on this.
