I have a miata, and let me tell you, that thing just stock handles soooo awsome! That little sucker can grip pretty damn good. I like mine, but I also have my 240 lol and it feels like crap without boost. It's weak on power for sure and doesn't have much torque but it's a pretty sick car. Alot of people have some amazing NA's and NB's on the MX5 forums. And NO you're not a flaming homosexual for driving one!

True, anyone that has anything bad to say about them has never driven one. Mine was so much fun to drive! Never been in a car that gave you such confidence in its handling.

I would take the trade as well. Do some research though, miatas are pretty picky about which seats will fit in them... those might be a tight fit.

i seriously dont think you should trade a 11-12 year old car for a 19 year old car. soon you'll see yourself replacing bad bushings and doing alot of work on the upkeep.

if you want to let the kouki go, i'd just swap it to 5sd. sell it, then buy the blue car and have extra cash

I sold my s13 for a Miata. Kinda glad I did.The Miata is like a go-kart and I don't really care what others think so maybe that's why I enjoy driving mine. It is a chick car, but chicks like chick cars. Do they not? Therefor they shall jello wrestle to see who rides with me.. >

miatas are dope cars. anyone who says they are into "tuning" and hates on miatas is a F*cking dumbass. possibly one of the greatest achievements of quality R&D in the tuning world is the NA and NB miatas.

as far as looks go, that's all opinion. I personally think they are sick looking, and if done properly (as with ANY car) can look badass.

dude people are going to tell you not to get it and say its a girls car but these are the same people that dont realize that the miata is the most raced car on any given weekend due to the cost of the car and need i even say these 2 words Spec Miata . the miata is a great platform ive never owned one but have driven a few of them and have been looking to buy one. there is always the ford V8 swap you can do to it and the fact that there is a kit to make it look like a AC Cobra. miata has after market support so keep that in mind. i say go for it and if you end up not liking it then sell it but IMO anyone that likes to drive a car that was designed with the whole driving experence in mind would own on. Mazda designed the Miata with the concept of oneness between driver and car.

As i recall the 240sx was marketed towards women so in theory the 240 is a girls car too.

Perfect combo for me would be a 2nd gen GS400 for daily duty and a turbo'd 1.8L 1st gen Miata for fun...

They require so much less work than a 240 to be fun...
