To add fuel to the fire, there are more integras that destroy auto-x's than 240's. The integra also has a much, much bigger foot print in SCCA road racing than the 240. I personally like the 240 more, but if you think teg's can't "turn" your retarded.

Honda's are fun cars, and the DC2 is such a beautiful car. I'd say do it!

Go look up Hasport. And their yellow EF CRX. I've seen the car in person, and seen it run in countless videos. Amazing machine. Or the Top Setup EG hatch. Or the Backyard EG. Or the Spoon DC2. Or the Sunline EK. There are lots of FF cars that can eat RWDs for lunch. But all out, it seems that the CE9s are the top rung in international Time Attack. But heck, other than the Sunline S15, there seems to be so many internationally dominate S chassis cars in time trials.

Don't get me wrong, 240s are great cars and I love mine to bits as a daily/autox/light tune car, but I would rather have a Honda for all out tuning than an S chassis. Now a BNR32 is a whole different can o' beans.

Sorry i'm not trying to be rude. But a stock honda rod, (shot peened or not) is not good for boost. The thistle strength is way too weak to handle the added stress of a turbo. If i were to crack open the block i would buy some forged rods as well.
I agree to a point, but he said hes short on cash, therefore he probably couldnt afford new rods, and I think its a very generalized statement to say "a stock honda rod is not good for boost" because guys do 400hp on stock block LS motors, Its not Ideal but it can be used.

evans tuning has been making over 500hp for awhile on stock blocks...

i wouldnt pay more then $6000 for it. none of those parts are really worth anything and you have no way of knowing the work that was done on the motor. its got a sc so he prolly drives the crap out of it. id hold off

I have nothing against Honda, In fact i would really like to build an EK9 with a B16B, I think it would be really fun and quite a fast car if i were able to achieve 170wtq.

About this trade though, How old is the owner of the integra? How many owners has the car had? does he have receipts of all the work done to the car or at least the major upgrades? If he did the work himself, do you have any examples of his work to know his craftsmanship is good? What are his reasons for wanting to sell his integra? What is the street scene like in your area? If it is pretty popular i would be skeptical of weather or not the car was abused based off the age of the owner and the way he carries and represents himself.

I would already be kind of eh in the "buying an already modified car" department.

Be careful, this is just FEW of the many things you may want to look into. Especially if you do not have much money at all, to correct missed mistakes after a purchase/trade.

Good Luck.

One Love,

Ghasty
