Fair trade or whos getting a better deal? What one would I be able to sell for more?

Well, it says in your sale post there that you need money, so why would you trade. And why would the poll be to trade for the integra or 240sx??? I would just hold out and sell it, if you need the money anyway.

I would find out what kind of boost hes been running and what his AFR's are like, ask some questions about his tune. Hes running Type R pistons which would yield him about 10.8:1 or 11:1 Compression depending on if its USDM or JDM type R, also they're cast. I would say your car is the better of the two. just my opinion, and im a Honda guy now so...

If the teg checks out, money wise you would not be loosing out. If you are only looking at monetary value then it's fair, but my opinion would tell me to keep the 240 if it were mine.

If I were you I would trade him, but I would loose those Type R pistons shortly after, a set of forged pistons with stock shot peened rods would make a nice cheap set-up.

Don't listen to the children that know nothing of vehicle dynamics whine senselessly about FWD. Properly setup and driven, a FWD platform can be just as fast as a RWD for AWD.

I love DC2s man. I would seriously do the trade. I had the option to trade for a white 99 GS-R with an ITR front end and some other goodies. If it had been in a little better shape (bad oil pressure switch, leaking hg etc) I would br driving a GS-R right now myself.

Having said all that, I think his car is worth more, but your car is better built. Take that as you will.

The GSR should be alot faster than your car right now, if it's running right. But your car is in great shape and ripe for a turbo build. I'd say keep your Zenki, bide your time through school and turbo it down the road.

is your engine really built? If it is, like in your description, why would you trade? You know your car is running top-notch since everything is new, and you have no idea whats wrong with that GSR... Plus your engine is already built well, just throw a turbo on that mug and smoke GSR's all day everyday (and more then just GSR's)

I VOTE KEEP IT AND BOOST IT.

Seriously? An integra for your s14? Please dont, unless you really like that car, I myself see waaaaaaaay too many integras to even consider that deal.

I wouldn't do it. My brother in law has a Jacksonracing supercharged RSX at either 9 or 11 psi. It's fast, but not too impressive. THe supercharger belt is also annoying too. It'll squeel if it's not tight. Then when tightened just a bit more it snapped. Anyways, your 240 has a lot more potential and looks better anyways.

Sorry i'm not trying to be rude. But a stock honda rod, (shot peened or not) is not good for boost. The thistle strength is way too weak to handle the added stress of a turbo. If i were to crack open the block i would buy some forged rods as well.

That being said, keep the two fourty. I agree, you need to boost that car. I own both a civic and a 240sx. Both are stock. The 240 is way more fun.

i dont know why you guys are comparing a civic to an integra... they're two different cars. it's like comparing a 240 to a 300zx. the integra is worth more and if it's in good shape, you shold be able to sell it for more than the 5500 you were looking for, easy.

A civic and an integra are more comparable then a 300zx and a 240zx. first of all the hondas are fwd's with inline fours. the 300zx has a fairlady engine, last i check the 240's didnt come with a v6 from the factory.

What your analogy should have been,

a civic is to a v6 accord exl, as a 240sx is to a 300zx.

i think you should just keep your car or get another rwd because i front wheel drives aren't that fun to drive. I mean you can go strait foward pretty fast but you can't take turns and corners as fast as a rwd. I have a lot of fun driving my rwd and i never got bored of it, one thing is for sure i would not trade my s13 for an integra. Thats my opinion?and yet i wouldn't mind having one for a DD

No, its simple RWD > FWD. Also, 240SX > Integra, not question and your have a "full built engine."

Keep it, you'll might regret it later on. If not sell it and take the cash, but if you're already in the market for a integra, i would spend the extra money to get a rsx type s.

Obviously your not a die hard s-chassis fan so just get rid of it. You either LLOOVVEE 240s or they're just not the car for you. Also I blew up a 240 and got a nice jdm swapped del sol for a daily, and shrtly there after I traded for a 240. Yep I traded a del sol worth $4500 for a 240 that was worth 1800.

Also why on earth would you post this on a nissan forum? You don't think there would be bias would you?

Don't trade. It's going to get stolen the next day.

Ask him about his security feature.

the teggy is worth more in resale value. but seriously, did you expect to get a different answer than what your getting. your in a 240 forum go to a teggy forum and i guarantee you they will tell you to take the integra
