It all depends on what you want. If you want a sports car, then get the G35c. If you want a luxury sports sedan, then get the Q45.

With the Q45 you will enjoy the extreme luxury it provides you and all the niceties that come with it. It also has a 4.5L v8 with 340hp, so it is a beast on the road. A very powerful vehicle to be sure.

With the G35c you are going to get the sporty-coupe feel of a smaller car with a nice, tight ride. It will be faster low-end, but the Q would kill it high-end. The G35c has plenty of luxury for anyone to be sure, just not as much as the Q...part of the price difference.

Nick :)

I drove a G35 coupe this weekend... All I can say its a rocket.. SUPER FAST (or feels that way becuase its REALLY touchy, and the gas pedal is much firmer)..

Overall the car is a much tighter car... Its very smooth, and very planted.... 80 feels like nothing!!!!!! Its very comfortable...

HOWEVER, I would have a hard time giving up this for my Q45... If they were of equal market value, I may take my G50.. Its 95% of the performance, 80% of the handling, and 150% of the luxury.. And this is 1994 compared to 2003.... Its a nice car, but Id definitely have to get used to it... I guess im more of a Q guy, id love to drive a M45 or Q45 sometime.....

Im 17 and id nearly take my 1994 Q45 with 128k over a brand new G35!!!!!!

Overall, Id take a new Q over a G35, im nearly certain (without driving both)... You will enjoy it more.. Sporty when you want, plush when want, rather than always sporty.....

here is one for ya to think about.....you can always fit more girls in the Q and besides the back seat is more functional versus the coupe....all depends on your needs.

I am probably going to catch sh_t for saying this one....

If you get a Q, wait til the new one comes out, so you can pick between stylings.

i would love to wait and get the new redesigned m45 which i saw at the auto show and was truly amazing. The problem is i need a car yesterday and i norrowed it down to these two cars and i am still torn. i mean the q45 is good looking but the g35c is a work of art.

It's your car, what does it matter what it looks like?

I see people of all ages and races in G35 coupes...

It's a good choice.

I dont think it matters at all..... However, i think the Q would appeal more to you... You wouldnt look "stupid", but i think it would look more "fitting" if you were in a Q... The G35 says, "im fast!" The Q says "I own you"... I prefer ownage.....

Old is relative...... I wouldn't mind tooling around in a G35c, and I am probably older than most of you here. But when it comes down to comfort and performance everyday.......the mighty Q rules.

The G35 is kind of heavy as it is. Lugging an additional 600(Q45) pounds is not my idea of fun. Sure it's got additional power to make up for it, but not quite what you want if you are interested in high performance. If of course you want bells and whistles, the Q45 has more. But I prefer a car I can drive fast very comfortably. Meaning the car needs to have a higher performance threshold. not to mention the G35 has a 6 speed. I hate autos.

I would go with the G35c because there is a supercharger that is readily available for it.

I think you would be happier with a Q. Better interior, more comfortable.

I think the choice between Q45 and M45 is a matter of style. M45 of course is a touch faster and smaller. But I'd choose a second-gen M45 over all else.

The Q: Middle aged, sophisticated, lower key LUXURY cruiser, high end speed (highway cruiser deluxe)The G: Younger, LUXURY sport, quick off the line (street racer)

IMHO Q much better for everyday driving and nicer ride for the chicks...

AAAHHHH Horse poop!

I think that age.sex,race,ect... is for the birds. It doesn't matter one way or another.Get the car you like the best.

I love both of your choices and you can't go wrong with either.

my vote is for the G.The G35c has to be the best buy out there for 35~40k!so sexy and what a performer.

Let us know what you end up getting and we all love to see photos!;)

If I was shopping (& had the budget) I'd look at the FX45, M45 & FX35 in that order. I personally have never cared for the current Q body style. (now I may get ripped for that one)

I wont let that one go!!!!! The Q has hte most dynamic styling... unlike the G50, its a love/hate deal... I think its phenominal.

BTW Dane, for only about 3k more you can have an ever BETTER buy, IMO..... Faster, and more luxury..... Then again, im a luxury car guy (17 year old in an old Q has to say something)
