I would say it's a dirty race gun that doubled, but that many times? Right...themadscientist wrote:Every time I go to a range and see the hits on the ceiling it makes me wonder WTF those shooters were doing.![]()
I'm just glad I wasn't on the line that day.
why would you pull your head down, that throws off bod alignment. the gun is an extension of your arms, the round an extension of that. if you start getting all crooked guess what's gonna happen... you won't curve bullets, just miss. There's quite a few effective stances, look em up and find what works for you. I'm pretty partial to teh weaver stance since it's how i was trained for a long time.MaximA32 wrote:I've never actually thought to pull my head down to the gun like that. I love my S&W .40. My next purchase of a handgun is going to be either a Sig 226 or an XD40.

i know that weapon all too well, my friend. M4 is the military version of the AR15 Carbine, it's a 5.56 mm Nato ammunition with a 4 position collapseable buttstock. lightweight, air cooled, gas operated, magazine fed, shoulder fired weapon fires from the close bolt position. Weighs 7.5 pounds with sling and 30 round magazine. Max range is 3600 meters, max effective range for point target is 500 meters, area is 600 meters. Rates of fire is sustained 12-15 well placed rounds per minute, rapid 45 rpm, burst 90 rpm, and cyclic 700-970 rpm (theoretically if given a long enough magazine and the barrel hasn't melted while on full auto. M4 fires in semi-automatic single shot or automatic 3 round bursts. Chamber pressure of 52,000 psi, barrel has 6 lands and grooves for rifling in a 1/7 right hand twist (one full revolution of rifling ever 7 inches).justinmc wrote:plalm wrote:stace how many rounds did you fire? Was that standing or off a bench? At 25 meters not a bad set of grouping. Since you just said "M4" I'm guessing it wasn't yours or you don't know the model/build specs on it?
Thats why I was wondering... a lot of people just say "oh my buddy has an M4" which always makes me chuckle. Or "my buddy has an M16". Mmmmm ok!? Hahaha... I've put a few down range with M4's but mostly stuck with civic grade AR variants.plalm wrote: i know that weapon all too well, my friend. That was 44/50 on target. I fired 10 in 5 different positions. prone supported, prone unsupported, kneeling, Over barricade and standing.

I'll hold you to that. YES PLEASEKoshin wrote:
