shinny fiberglass dashboard

Someone just sent me a link to post a pic of my S14 fiberglass interior. So here it is.

I did all this myself and only cost hundreds in materials and countless days and nights for months! To pay someone would cost 2-4000 . I asked before I did!

I kept all the body lines and covered it to look oem as possible, not way overdone as some. But each his own, and do what you want and feel is good to you!

I would only sugest this for show only use, cause of the things you mentioned above, the biggest problem being glare, when the sun hits it, you better have a cover to throw over the dash! Plus the heat that builds up inside is rediculous! Fiberglass cracks over time, so you'll end up repairing parts alot! I used my car for show and go and daily driver, right now my car is beat, some of you may haveseen it at a show or somehting, its lookng bad, lol as of Nopi at least!

I plan on redoing the interior in a full suede wrap job next time around!

BTW it is spelled 'spelled' not spelt

actually it is "spelt" I use American and Standard english so I can choose w/e spelling I like

fiberglass aint bad as long as it's not SUPER smooth and SUPER shiny. Can look killer if done right as shown in examples here

I know its not of much use, but a few months ago I found a carbon fiber dash for an S14 for sale (it was already fabricated for an exact fit)... I live in Hawaii and it was on one of our local forums. I don't rememer how much though. It was in good condition and it looked nice in the pictures. In my opinion, I think carbon fiber is generally kinda rice though. I tried looking for post, couldn't find. Just posting to let you know that they are around and people have done it so maybe you can find someone who just wants to sell it to you?
