The value of all my tools (new) together is maybe $1500, which puts me firmly in the mechanic camp (or in the DIY elite).
IF I could put a zero behind that $1500, I'd could squeeze into the technician set.
My education is all of the "wrench in hand, why the %#$* won't this work?" variety.
