The whole idea of a weighted shift knob is ridiculous to me. The more mass you have to move around, the more force. And since that mass is concentrated on the end of a lever arm, it is magnified by the length of the shifter. This is slower and more like the "ham-fisted" slamming gears of wanna-be drag racers. These knobs only have a faster "feel" because the driver is slamming the gears. These knobs do have a benefit, however. They give a more solid feel when shifting, which is good if you've ever driven a worn out 86. I stay away from metallic ones because I live in Texas. It got to the point that I had to make a thermal barrier (glorified sock made out of an old lunch bag) to put over the knob. Otherwise I'd have to use the old water bottle and towel trick.Long story short, I use a high tech plastic white one now. Its made out of the same material in high end shifter bushings.
From your list, I'd pick A because it looks nice. The grip feel on C is good if you hold your hand vertically while shifting.Hope this helps!
