Just CT?? New England already has a club: 240sx Owners of New England, aka 240sxONE

We have enough KAt's here that a CT KAt club might be of some use, though. Although, the SR's are starting to catch up. Another one popped up at the last FCSCC autox event.

carl: bah, you already know what I think of it. Damn loud *** open wastegate :p Can't wait till your car is finished!! Hurry up and get id done so you can come race up to NER this Sunday.

Glad to hear it's running better!! I'll be in Hamden this weekend (driver retraining for my B-day ticket last year) so I'll try to stop by the shop on sat to check it out.

Unfortunately all the Bristol events coincide with NER events, and the NER events are a lot more important to me (larger group, so a championship there may mean more to potential sponsors). I already have 1 win for NER, dunno if you heard... took 1st place at the opening event) so most of my focus is into staying near the top in the NER season. If i can do so, I think I can get a sponsor or two, and hopefully get better tires, shocks, and other parts to get faster, and maybe compete in nationals later on this season. Right now I'd get killed at a national event, though.

Sil80drifter: there may be enough cars for a CT club, but with 240sxONE (forums.240sxone.com) growing I don't think there's much of a point, as we might as well make any CT events a 240sxONE event (most of the CT guys are already friends with others from MA, RI, NH, etc). That doesn't mean we can't meet up without out-of-staters.

Seems as though I've been regularly "meeting" some of the south CT guys... I see Carl (Cdigity) every other weekend, Rob (white S13 w/ blacktop SR) at the FCSCC events, and Micah (white S13 working on RB swap) every once in a while.

If I could get you guys to do NER events, we'd be feilding 10 cars with like 12- 13 cars present at the event. Last event there were 7 cars, 6 competing: 2 KAt's, 2 SR's, 2 NA KA's, 1 SOHC not competing. Next event there'll be another SOHC competing (John from RI, who REALLY wants to autoX now) and possibly his friend (with yet another white S13). Almost matches the biggest ONE meet, where we had a panoramic view of 240's up at F1 Boston.

LoL.... and sorry for jacking the thread :p
