O yea just 4 questions:

What is the voltage that the TPS should be when closed because mine comes up at .58 volts is that ok]

Some one with a laptop consult try connecting to the A/T with the car on with OBD scan tech and tell me if it connects or not?

Econ MPG doesnt work for ECU talk for me at least only trip MPG works and I get 16 BTW city.

The knock sensors don't give me a reading?

The TPS is set by resistance value for a more accurate position setting on these cars.

What kind of laptop consult are you using? If you are talking about using III there is a cable for OBD1 cars but the software is not compatible at this time. It is compatible with ConsultII though.

Gasket and o-rings materials are chosen for a specific reason (heat, pressure, vacuum, chemical compatibility, etc.) and shouldn't be changed unless your parameters have changed (they haven't). RTV is a pain to remove cleanly without generating a bunch of debris, some of which will end up inside the TB or one of its small holes. It was a poor choice by the PO. Cork is used on valve covers so it's good for liquids and high temp but we know that cork eventually breaks down and leaks. You don't see cork used in vacuum systems either.

You're now an expert at TB with TCS removal since you've done it once and you'll find that the 2nd time around will go twice as fast. Get the correct gasket or gasket material and have at it.

That is a resistance reading measured in Ohms.

The TPS is a variable resistor. The reason it has you set it in Ohms is that as throttle angle increases the resistance in the sensor. This is the most accurate way to set a TPS on these cars w/o a Consult.

O ok Guess I will have to go with OEM and risk the shipping but I might as well add it to my huge shopping IOS list.
