To whom it may concern:

As some or all of us know, Jason Relieford of Shadow Dragon Racing has been MIA now for 2 whole months. I know of there being a good deal of people with a considerable amount of money lost because of his inactivity

Because of his absence, I recently filed a paypal complaint for the amount of 484.00, the cost of the RSR EXMAG S14 exhaust that I purchased from him.

I'm looking to gather as much support as possible to perhaps get Jason to post on here again or make some sort of contact with us. I have no clue why this guy has gone into hiding, as I've had nothing but great results with previous business transactions...

So please, file your formal complaints to help speed up this process. Paypal has forced me to wait on other complaints because I was outside a 45 day window, and basically said i'm screwed unless other complaints are filed. I'm sure there are others who are outside this window as well.

Thanks as always, and hopefully we can get some results!

I'd give it till the end of October. The S14 guys were supposed to have their exhausts by now. According to Jason the S13 Ex Mags were on backorder (consistent with other businesses) and his S13 shipment was to arrive late October. I know I haven't received my S13 ExMag, but will wait.

Shadow Dragon HQ is in Louisiana, and has been slightly affected by the recent Hurricanes in the Gulf Coast. He recently posted a reply on NICO (search by name). I have tried to contact him by email and by phone, which both currently do not work. My only hope is that he requested that the products ship directly to the customer and not to SDR first. If for some reason I don't get a reply or the ExMag by the end of the month, I will also file a complaint with Paypal.

It kind of sucks because there are some other businesses that currently have a ExMag group buy or advertiser special for the same price with the exhausts in stock. I can't buy cause I'm not sure if mine is still coming.

Sorry for the lengthy post, but I'm in the same boat, although I'm sure my ExMag is not the most expensive transaction that is still open it's still something to complain about.

Thanks Ace and sillbeer for keeping it professional.

I have had difficulty reaching Jason as well. My hope is that 1) He's OK, 2) That everyone gets their stuff or $, and 3) That there's a reasonable explanation for the delay.

As always, let's keep this thread for current customers of SDR only. Thanks all.

I hear ya Sillbeer about having to wait on the other group buys for the exmags. The story about the S13's coming later was exactly what he said to me when he wrote me an email about my S14 exmag beign in customs.

Again, he was a great guy through previous sales and through email. I had sent him an 'are you ok' email shortly after the storm had hit, just to see how he was.

The only thing I don't understand is that he lives in Shreveport, which is in northern LA...unless maybe his business server was based outa south LA or somethign???

I hope he manages to come back and fall right back into stride like he was before. Jason was running a great new shop, and had a great support base up until recently. Make the comeback for us

Yeah that happened with some of the stuff I was getting from Jason too. His warehouses were hit by the hurricane and last time I heard he was getting power, sewage and water restored to them. Give him some time, he's always been a good seller. Don't see why he'd change all of a sudden. I'm sure there's a good reason for it.

This was a month or so ago, but I didn't have any problems with him. Hopefully this gets figured out.

I've been waiting on a refund for a s13 rsr exmag for months, he said the wait would originally be 8 weeks then later said it would take at least twelve so he offered to give me my money back about two weeks before the storm hit. He lagged on it and I haven't heard from him since the storm. I was also past the 45 day refund period for paypal.

Well guys, I've noticed that Jason now has his site back up with a formal message...

"Under Constructionhttp://www.shadowdragonracing.com

Due to the unforseen events of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, Shadow Dragon Racing has been temporarily shut down. We expect to reopen this winter with new products but the same great prices. Thanks for all your support in this time of tragedy.

Shadow Dragon Racing lost servers, we've lost business, we've lost time and revenue, but we are still standing. Our neighbors though have lost much more. Please do not forget that rebuilding lives will take a lot of time and effort on all our parts. Please donate to the American Red Cross today to help those in greater need.

Man I just wish he'd post on the forums!!!

He also has a new email: [email protected]

THe point is, is that the transaction went through nearly 4 months ago, he emailed me saying my stuff was in customs...and ever since Aug 18th I've not heard a single word from him!!!

2 months without even an update??? Thats simply the wrong answer.

He WAS a great guy to talk to and do business with, however after a stretch like this I would be a fool to outwardly trust him again unless he can make this all better soon...

I know where you are coming from. But the fact that he told me to wait till after the hurricane to give him my $2500 makes me think he's not scamming everyone. He said he wanted to make sure everything would go smooth after Katrina. Hopefully he shows up soon.

I can vouch persnally for Bcrume's problem. Jason informd me weeks prior to the hurricane about the s13 deal not goin through, and that he was going to repay those group buy members....

Well,

I filed my paypal complaint. They said they would look into it, but the outlook doesn't look so good. I sent my info to Cody anyways. Just in case I called my credit card company. They are temporarily giving me my money back. Bad news is that since I already had some money in the account, paypal only charged ~300 bux. So I'm not getting a full refund as of yet; I'll have to show proof of the exmag group buy purchase, which isn't a problem.

Question to everyone else: Have you tried resolving this through your credit card? If paypal is rather uncooperative your credit card company may be more helpful with this. In my opinion I really don't care who gives me my money back, as long as I get it. Anyway just some food for thought.

Hey guys, Im going to send a email to the PayPal rep that was dealing with me through email. I'm going to include all 3 complaint ID's that I have at this point and remind them that I have yet to hear more from him.

I'm going to include in the email that if they can reach the buyer, that we'd also like to get an updated status on what's going on (and for Bcrume's sake, his cash back for no product whatsover.)

I am also going to send an email to Jason with what is going on. I know for my sake, I'd rather get an update on the situation and go from there. I'll suggest to give my cash back for the time, and then I'll resend the cash once my exhaust is READY to by shipped. I would feal bad just filing a complaint without telling him what's going on first.
