setting timming on ka24e???

ONLY for ADVANCED technical discussion about the 240sx!

i was told be fore you can set the timming on a ka24e you have to unplug somthing to take the computers controll of the timming away is this true and if it is what is the thing i need to unplug?

TPS - Throttle Position Sensor; located on the throttle body, should be a 3 or 4 pin plug.

Your engine should be set to 15 BTDC, or 17 BTDC if you want a little better pick-up (this will require higher octane fuel)
