Layaway & payment plans

Here is how it works,

-All we require is 25% down (Non Refundable)-From the day the exhaust is purchased you have 120 days(4 months) to pay it off.-We encourage you to split the remaining balance evenly over the 4 months but it is not a requirement.-If down the line you decide you cannot afford or do not want the exhaust system, you WILL NOT be held liable on the remaining balance. However you WILL NOT receive a refund on any previous payment.-All payments are NON REFUNDABLE!-There is no interest on your balance!-Your exhaust will not ship until the balance is paid in full!-There is no pre payment penalty!

We like to think of this as our way to make purchasing for our customers a little easier during these economic times.

Loop,

Thank you for sharing this in depth information to all of us. It is very much appreciatefd, and helpful. Thank you
Beatrice wrote:I called Tony yesterday to see when he wanted me to come in to prototype the final exhaust (since he's already got the measurements and such done with Loop's car), and he said a couple weeks from now after he finishes the 370Z exhaust. He sounded like he wanted to do it quickly, so that's a good thing. Hopefully, he'll call in a couple weeks and then the exhausts will start to roll out.
Thank you for understanding how vital time is in this endeavor.

Lets hope tony can display a dyno chart to prove that our money isn't going to waste. Not that I don't have faith in fast intentions, but I would really like to see the cold hard facts.

Tony wants a manual transmission for the prototype so that he can get the dyno numbers. Unfortunately we cannot find any manual transmissions in the Southern California area. Because we are trying to get this produced immediately, we are going to settle for the CVT for the prototype. You can trust that you will find the utmost gains in this exhaust. Check fastintentions.com and you will see the numbers they produce for all their exhaust systems. They are tried and proven.

I have added yet another person to the list

Yes. The prototype should be completed next week, and the exhaust will be released within a few days after that.

We are simply waiting for Tony to finish the production of his new 370Z exhaust. He did not want to undertake two production exhaust at once which I can understand. He asked for two weeks, and then it would be our turn. Today marks the end of the second week, so next week is our week.

I apologize Beatrice. At the time I posted the information, I did not kknow you owned a manual transmission. Of course you are still the prototype guy.

jaehyun01, I apologize for delivering you incorrect information. You will get the numbers that you desire. Fast Intentions has a dyno in house.

Wow....This is just in time for getting my exhaust. I guess I will wait and see how everything pans out, but Im extremely interested at the quality and engineering that goes into these.

As Ive stated in a few other posts...one of my goals is to retain a fairly quiet vehicle while adding the most horses as possible (with a good deep exhaust note).

I was tempted to get the Nismo catback, but I guess you get more power from a Nismo axelback and a racingline Y pipe? Yet significantly louder?

So in the case of Fast Intentions, how does this translate? Will they be using they're own Y pipe all the way back?

Im confused a little, because mostly all I know about is the exhausts of v-8s and the benefits of x'ing them over and so forth. Theoretically, since it is still a v engine.....couldn't somebody come off the engine with the y, and instead of y'ing in down, cross them over and run duals straight back through whatever cats or resonators will optimize air flow and HP, while keeping noise consistent, and end up with more HP???

I talked to Tony over at Fast Intentions yesterday...From what I was informed, he is very busy with the 370z exhaust and doesn't have time to prototype another exhaust for the Altima Coupe right now.

I know a lot of you guys are banking on this system coming out soon....but from everything he told me it will most likely be a few months. He said that several times to get the point across.

This system, and every other system, doesn't really appeal to me because they aren't true dual systems. Notice with the 370z system, and the g35 systems....they are true duals that are x'ed over, thus creating equal backpressure, causing the v block to fire correctly. Haven't you ever started up your car first thing in the morning, and seen a ton of smoke rolling out of just one tailpipe?? With true dual systems that are x'ed over, that doesn't happen.

Personally, if Im going to be paying in the $700 range for an exhaust system....I want it to be more than just a 'note'. X'ing over systems have proven time and time again to maximize efficiency and airflow.

Too bad Tony is on the west coast. I would get him to make me a true dual system, with high flow cats, 18' resonators, and two mufflers. All mandrel bent....it would be sweet.

But Im confused as to why you guys are modding everything out and not going about it the right way. Its worth the cost to invest in a true dual setup. Again, you have a v block engine.

Healed Will,

Tony responded to you in this manner for specific reasons. This project is something that he has been working on with Beatrice, and I. Beatrice is the prototype guy for this project. It is no secret that Tony is extremely busy with his production exhaust for the 370z. Nevertheless, he committed to producing the exhaust for the NICOCLUB, Altima coupe family. Meaning, the guys on the list in this very thread will be made an exhaust. As you have redundantly stated, he does not want to take on another project while working on his 370z exhuast production. This is true, but does not fully apply to us. Tony has already made the exhaust on an Altima coupe once. He simpy has to replicate that, and make a jig. I have already advertised the exhaust, so he does not have to do it himself. If you read the link to the 370z, interest thread, you will see that Tony has to do all of the advertisement himself. This is the hardest and most strenuous aspect of production. This exhaust may not show up on the Fast Intentions site for sale before a few months, but that is not the case here.

After reading your previous post and this post, it is evident to me that you are confused on the way that exhaust systems work.

You will never see a true dual exhaust sytem for an Altima. Research the factory exhaust systems of an Altima Sedan or Coupe, and then research the exhaust system of the 350z, 370z, g35, and g37. (Since you made the comparision between these specific cars and ours). After doing so, you will find your answer. Just keep in mind one of the main factors, SPACE. I say this becuase with the knowledge you seem to uphold on exhaust systems, this may be the only factor that you will understand.

Very well. Furthermore, this thread is not for you. This thread is about the Fast Intentions exhaust, and being that it does not accomodate your wants and needs, please post your comments, wants and needs elsewhere. Thank you

To help you on your way, let me just mention, that for the 700 dollar range that you speak of, you will never achieve your wants. Notice the price of the exhaust that are equipped with your "X'ing over," and true dual capability. As with everything, that also has a very specific reason. As you will see, you will need a lot more than 700 dollars.
Healed Will wrote: Too bad Tony is on the west coast. I would get him to make me a true dual system, with high flow cats, 18' resonators, and two mufflers. All mandrel bent....it would be sweet.
Again, he would not be able to accomodate all of those inquiries with the Altima that you own.
Healed Will wrote:But Im confused as to why you guys are modding everything out and not going about it the right way. Its worth the cost to invest in a true dual setup. Again, you have a v block engine.
Again, please refrain from posting anymore incorrect information, negative comments, or anything that does not pertain to your posititive interest in a Fast Intentions exhuast. That is the sole purpose of this thread.

Thank you so much for your understanding and cooperation. Feel free to email me with any in depth questions that you may have.

If you change your mind and would like to be on the list, feel free to let me know.

Again, welcome to Nicoclub, you will find this site very resourceful.

I can't tell for sure ... but judging from the pictures in the first post, it looks like there might be enough room in there for dual pipes.

In any case, Fast Intentions will do what they can to get the most power with the best sound. On the VQ35, that is usually around 9 WHp give or take a few. They will not go into production unless there are reasonable gains ... and they always do before and after dynos on the same day using averaged results of multiple pulls.

FWIW, they prototyped their exhaust on my G35 HR resulting in what is argueably the most popular system among fellow owners. A big for FI.

All involved:

I'll not comment beyond this: This is starting to reek of blatant disergard for our Commercial Posting rules.

Fast Intentions should probably touch base with us and arrange for approved vendor status.

I love it and it sounds really sweet. I can't post up any sound clips though cuz I gave my camera to my daughter and I don't have anything that can take it. If you want to hear it, there's a link that was posted up by Loop. It sounds just like that but sounds clips don't do it justice IMHO....you need to hear it up close and personal!

I apologize for the delay, although there is nothing that I myself can do about it. Fast Intentions is currently in the process of moving into a larger location. Tony asked that I let everyone know that the move will be completed shortly, and the exhaust for the Altima coupe will be his first project. Try to hold tight if you can. Once you have this exhaust yo will not be dissapointed as you can see from Dangeris.

So they're not making this exhaust anymore? Checked fast intentions website and it's not on there.
