Loop wrote:I just talked to Tony. Even if this exhaust has 10 solid buyers of the same car. This exhaust will not be in production any time soon. It would be 4-6 months.
im sad now.... i was hoping to get this and wait for it as well for the 2.5, but now the dream is over...Loop wrote:
Fast Intentions will not be making a production exhaust for any 2.5 Altimas.

I am sure that the Greddy is louder, and along with its appearance, and from my own personal experience of hearing the Greddy on an Altima coupe, it is slightly ricey. And it drones terribly.RobPaulson wrote:
really?? is the difference explainable?
GReddy is louder without the silencer no doubt. With the GReddy silencer, it is almost comparable to FI, but the FI is just a tad quieter. The sound has a similar note, but the GReddy is deeper. I have had Tanabe, GReddy, and Fast Intentions exhaust and I would say they all drone in the low RPM's. Tanabe being the least and GReddy being the most. I believe the cause of this droning is the stock y-pipe.FGFCacoupe wrote:The Greddy

Thank you for shining some light on that. Good informationLoop wrote:

lots of peps are getting the new y-pipe, so we'll know for sure in a few. if thats the cause of droning then that would be a simple fixLoop wrote:

If it is made correctly. It should workmcheddadi wrote:

yeah the droning is rediculous. on the free way i sometimes downshift to 5th just to get rid of it. low rpms are the worstLoop wrote:GReddy is louder without the silencer no doubt. Remember Loop has a resonator, which makes a big difference in the sound of an exhaust.Loop wrote:Personally, I like the sound of my GReddy exhaust more when I had it.
Great decision, I put you on the list. Thank youjaehyun01 wrote:count me in! looks like my nismo exhaust is going up for sale!

Are there any sound clips?
HP/TQ numbers are not available. Correct, that is my car. No sound clips at the moment.Loop wrote:If I remember correctly, your first payment is 25% down. The rest is however you want to spread it out. Once you do the layaway plan, you will not be refunded either.
What's up bro. As Loop stated, Fast Intentions want 1/4 up front, and then the rest is at your leisure. If you are serious, I'm sure that you and the owner of Fast Intentions could work something out. There are no actual dyno numbers, because Loop has the CVT. Although this is not factual, I am almost positive that this exhaust puts down the best power gains out of all the exhaust available now. The precision craftmanship and design that Fast Intentions is known for leads me to believe that. If you read my first post, you can listen to the different exhaust clips that I have for their application on other cars. Although they are not an Altima, Tony has informed me that the exhaust sounds just like their exhaust for the 350z. In my original post, I have a link to those sound clips.Bearcat wrote:Did we ever get any more information about the payment plan? How much horsepower can we expect to gain from this? Ask away bro, I'll help you in anyway that I can so we can get you on the list.phobs wrote:Yeah, I'm mos def interested but I need more info about the deposit and payment plan.
What's up bro, yes the exhaust is 2.5 inch piping. Absolutely no problems at all, the exhaust system is perfect. Let me know if you want to get on the list, we are almost there. Believe me this is the best exhaust on the market.maxentropy wrote:Is this a 2.5" pipe? Did ya'll have any clearance issues with the area near the heatshield below the gas tank? My stock 3.5 exhaust is crimped down a bit-- I'm guessing due to heat near the gas tanks...
