That washer didn't perfectly wedge itself onto that lifter, that's just the way that they are. Someone has used lifters from another CA18 to replace one that was possibly bad on your motor, so no biggie. On a visual note, I notice your rod caps on backwards. If you put them back on the way they were taken off, then someone installed the rod caps backwards. Your engine appeared to be out of balalnce and that has a lot to do with the rod caps being on backwards. As for the pistons, I can always experiment with 84mm pistons on the CA block, so if you're looking to dump them, we can talk behind the scenes.

Why don't the other lifters have a washer on them? It seems strange.
