Carlos,The 4 hour in the sun waiting was mostly my fault. When I started getting the meet together I thought that Beech Bend opened at 11:00am like last time. When we found out that it opened at 5:00 we started looking for some extra fun for the day.The Dyno didn't work out so I was thinking that we could all go eat lunch at a sit-down place. Then we were waiting for people to show up all day.In hind sight I guess we should have just left a car or two with a note "NICO meet at Beech Bend @ 5:00pm" and went to eat.Sorry for the boredom and sunburn!

The company was cool though!;)

Matt,We are trying to get people to come out to IRP on next tuesday. Most of the Subie guys have already committed. A few guys want to test their ECU reflashes. You are more than welcome to come.

Thanks Bud...Unfortunately, a bit too early for me as I need new street tires and a set of drag tires first ;) I'm hoping something comes up later this year on a weekend. Maybe I'll try and head up something with nissanX during that timeframe and make a meet out of it for everyone....

Needless to say I had a great time yet again... :D and I’m already looking forward to the next meet... I was glad to get a chance to meet some new people and hangout with everyone again, and finally get to go into the corvette museum instead of just sitting in the lot. Granted the wait in the lot was kinda long but I did get some much needed sun :pface I finally got back home around 3:30am on Sunday morning so it was a late night driving, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be though... caravanning with the other guys who headed back Saturday night really helped... anyway, see you guys at the next meet. maybe we can do another auto x sometime, I missed out on it at the Indy meet... And yes Red it was fun laughing about Rubin in the staging lane :cwm27

Hey Rob, sorry you couldn’t make it, it wasn’t the same without you ;) maybe next time...

I had a great time (I always enjoy racing :ylsuper ). The hot sun was a bit long in the day but the Corvette Museum helped to break that up a bit so it wasn't too bad for me. I look foward to the next one.

Maybe we should have NICO Ultimate Street Car Challenge with a drag and AutoX portion. Winner gets a trophy and NICO T-Shirt or something. I think we could have a decent showing for that. Ideas ideas :thinker

There are SCCA auto x events all the time.Mostly in Louisville at UPS or Papa Johns Cardinal stadium.

I like the USCC idea Cory.I think that sounds like a whole lot of work getting things set up.

What problems did I have in the stagging lanes, I didn't even run. I am so confused on that, but it dosen't surprise me that Robbie was making fun of me, as if I even care, lol.

Yea, sure, whatever. We all hate you, as.s. :D Nah, yet again we missed you Matt. Wish you coulda made it. Right now we have no scheduled date for another meet. It will probably be next year now, since it is so late this year already for another meet.

Hey Carlos. I have looked at the video and I remember having a couple of your runs on tape but I don't remember seeing a burnout. I am going to try to get a video up and edited soon.

I definately had a problem the first time I staged. Felt like a total noob! I passed up the line, realized it, backed up, and staged. I then realized I had staged the rear tires:crazy

That place needs to invest in $5 of yellow paint to make things a bit easier to see

Good idea Dane. I have wanted to get my car on the road for a while now, just hasnt happened yet. I think a Louisville meet, then a treck to Clay City (wherever that is, heh) would be good.

I have never been to Clay City myself but it about 45 min from Lexington KY.(Lexington is about 50 min from Louisville)The guy with the s2000 at this meet lives and works at an awesome shop in Lexington so If we do plan this I'm sure that he can get some nice rides to go also. ;)
