If you manage to run out even with a low level light...then you deserve to blow your motor :)

If you guys haven't read up on alcohol injection yet, do a search on google and read up on it. It is awesome and a cheap mod to add when boosting.

You can get denatured alcohol at your local hard ware store. Its about 10 bucks a gallon over at home depot. And you wouldn't be running 100% alky, it would be more like 50% alky and 50% water.(correct me if I'm wrong) And you can set the solenoid to spray alky in at whatever rpm you wish or at certain boost levels. So you wouldn't be running alky all the time when your just cruising around town.

I also heard that alky cleans off all of your carbon deposits in your engine internals!

I'll be using alky injection when I go turbo for sure!

Most of what you said is correct, alky does remove alot of carbo build up. But I run 100% straight Alky. I'm actually going to use xylene next. It has a far higher octane rating.

hey wd i was reading the maximum boost book and it said that above 9 lbs of boost the extra injector isnt safe, "not practical above 9 psi". is this true or is the information a little outdated due to technology or something else?

also, how is the turbo kit coming?

Hmmm, if it removes carbon deposits I might just have to do that :) I was going to break in the bottom end then seafoam it to get teh carbon deposits out of the cyl. head but if alcohol does it too then I could have fun AND clean out carbon deposits. How much better can it get???

Saying that additional injectors is unsafe is a fairly naive statement. Granted the book is very old. I know of a ton of people, to include Rob Stillen, who use subinjectos in there designs.

I'm waiting on the turbo to arrive so I can finish the first kit up. Not long now...

Dude, the company I'm gettiung the turbo's from neglected to tell me my wastegate was on backorder, till today. I'm also getting the FMIC from them as well. So I have all the crap, I just need those essential parts to begin fabrication.
