Seat controls

Good Morning,

My daughter has a 2001 QX4. The car is pretty beat up cosmetically so we'd like to fix some things here and there. An issue we need to address is the seat controls. The seat will not move forward and back. Up and down is fine. The motor runs when we are trying to move it forward but no movement.

Anyone know what the problem could be?

I'm assuming the seat is stuck in the most rearward position? Try tapping the motor and trying again. This is a pretty common problem and most people have gotten it working again by basically jolting it out of that stuck position.
