That made me laugh... haha I'm thinking a portrait of Golgotha... with a Skyline drifting across the bottom and some donkeys scuttling out of the way... too much.

EDIT: Alcantara is rather expensive, personally think that'd leave it a little too busy in the car as well. Some plain black or other subtle colored suede would probably do it justice! BTW my buddy's WRX has a nice material, not alcantara at all, but more of a polyester sort of crap seems durable and looks attractive enough.

not entirely sure. got code 34. symptons are horrible gas mileage, a slight stumble at idle, hesitation as it enters full boost. it's just to damn cold here in Mass to really get under the hood of the car and start poking around at things.

Where did you get you CA? Has it done this since you bought it? Did you do anything to the motor before install, like gaskets, oil pump, etc.? Just wondering, I'm really having a hard time choosing a motor.

yeah in the minute or two it took me to read the post, the hood has grown on me. I would definitely paint over it, but for a rattle can job, it is very well done, and nice. Now for the love of all that is holy please PLEASE spend 100 bucks on lowering springs. That imho is the worst thing about your car.

why spend $100 on springs when I just spent $850 on KTS Coilovers. didn't read the post to well sir.

but yeah, thanks for the compliments guys. the hood is really growing on me, and I'm actually considering doing a higher quality paintjob on it come spring time. same concept, better quality. we'll see when the time comes. Mother nature just took a crap on my quaint little town full of snow and ice. so i'm in no hurry to pretty the car up.

Sorry was too busy being amazed that i actually kinda like the hood to read that you got the coilovers :P but yeah, without the mile gap the car would actually look fairly nice.

You should do something like this when you get it painted professionally.

/careless shop

I didn't like the hood when I saw it at first, but grew on me. It's unique.

eww. that **** looks horrible. some were sayin it would look better all white, but now after seeing (although not the best photochop i've ever seen) I know for sure that it wouldn't look right. yuck.

Haha I know, it looks pretty bad in my opinion. I'd stop at the hood if you decide to go with a rising sun at all.

I thought it might look better with all white too, but I still like the black after comparing.
